The cynical part of me thinks half of them are farming for followers but I have to remember many of the younger ones are just naive and I guess don’t realize a good roommate is not going to care about how hot they are.

Yes, I met a hot guy at Publix once. He followed me around and after some conversation exchanged numbers. I guess I liked his bravado. But talk is cheap and he was hot and cold and flaky as puff pastry. A few dates and never again. I'm avoiding my favorite grocery store now!

I always just assume they’re not single and keep my eyes down and music blasting. I’m terrified that even the most innocent and respectful attempt to talk to an attractive woman in public is going to get me labeled as a creep or something.

I know that it probably won’t, but the one time it does would petrify me.
