I wouldn’t invest a lot if someone who

1) does nothing related to quantum computing

2) may be a direct competitor with quantum computing

Can make a statement that tanks the entire market so much…

none of these quantum computing companies does anything useful with quantum computing either. you can't be a competitor with vaporware.

Almost all of the best tech is currently within private companies or mega corps (Google, IBM, Microsoft). Something useful is probably 5 years away. Something mind-blowingly useful is probably 15 years away at least.

U hear about ten years before something that means financial gains in the quantum world. So about half way between the useful and mind blowingly useful that you give so possibly about right
