I have an iphone 7 running IOS 15.8.3, i bought it new 7-6 years ago <br> my issue is that the phone crashes whenever i try and record a video, but not take a picture, when i try to record a voice memo whether on the voice memo app or on any social networking app, and of course when i try to make a phone call, it doesn't even ring or make ringing voices and most of the time, the phone i'm trying to call doens't ring as well. <br> this issue started 2 years ago, ever since, i havne't been using that phone, i would occasionally charnge it. but it's only yesterday that i decided to erase the phone hoping that issue would be resolved, but it's still present. <br>

does anybody have any ideas why this is happening and how to solve it?

iPhone 13 mini iOS 17.7

I've been trying to move all my photos onto my PC through Photos app and it doesn't transfer half the images I've selected. I've tried to do it in chunks since it's over 200 gigs so for example I moved 10 000 over and it says it couldn't do 6 000 of them.

Is there another way to easily do this? The Photos app is very bare bones and it took 2 hours to move 10 000 and not do 6 000 which I don't know what ones it didn't move.

I am trying to import photos from a relatives old device

On the device you can see: - camera roll (500) - Photo library (849) - etc

However when I open it in photos on my MacBook, it only shows the 500 in the camera roll

Does anyone know an easy way to import them?

I really don’t want to spend hours and hours emailing to and from 😂

I have an iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.1.1. I’m going to do my best to explain the problem. I was texting from an iCloud account for awhile and then got a SIM card which gave me a number. However for some of my contacts it will seperate the two. Some people get texts from both my number and iCloud. In group chats there’s always two of my for everyone else one iCloud and one number. It doesn’t affect anything on my end but it confuses people sometimes and is quite annoying when there are group chats cause even removing one means that I can’t type from the other. I’ve gone into settings and tried changing the send and receive to only my number however then I won’t get texts from certain people. There’s no way of knowing who has my iCloud and who has my number. Is there anyway to fix this and combine both of them to make things easier without having to individually text everyone to tell them to combine the two. I don’t know if any of this makes sense but I’m lost and really need help.

My iPhone is locked to the owner(iPhone Xr). Apple told me there is no activation lock active, but there obviously is because it's locked to the owner. I restored it with iTunes already but nothing changed. I found out that FMI is off. iOS 17 or 18. What should i do?

My cousin bought extra iCloud space, then updated his iphone to ios 18.2 immediately, after the update he found all his photos in the recently deleted, after a while they disappeared from recently deleted, does anybody know why they were deleted, and is there any way to get them back?

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18.2.1. I don’t use any iCloud services and just back the phone up to my Mac using the finder. Normally, I can delete any photos on the phone that aren’t synced from the Mac but after installing the latest iOS point release, exporting a bunch of photos to the Photos app in my Mac, and doing a sync, I now can’t delete ANY existing photos on the phone.

I turned off all photo syncing in the finder (see screenshot), did another sync to apply those changes and rebooted the phone, but the problem persists.

Any ideas on what I might try next? 🙏

I currently use icloud. I have an icloud email. I am up to date on the latest ios version (18.2.1)

Up until maybe last week I have never had an issue getting junk emails. You would think that would be great, but this is creating a problem because things important emails are being filtered out. I have looked through everything on both the PC and my iphone and cannot find any setting that is wrong. I haven't changed a thing. Yes, I have turned it off and turned it back on again.

So iphone experts help me out here. What am I missing?

My RCS was working previously until i turned it off and on because my messages were acting up giving me two separate group chat of the same people with the same messages split into half so i thought it’d fix it now i can’t get it back any help or recommendations? it’s been stuck like this for awhile.

my phone is an iPhone 15 ios 18.1 or whatever is the latest one.

whenever i swipe down in the top right corner for the control center, my notifications come down, not the control center.

ive restarted multiple times even force restarting. its always a temporary fix and starts doing the thing again and not working anymore.

This is the second problem i've had with my phone in just these last few weeks, and ive never seen any before that until now. the first problem was my side button being jammed or something and being half pressed already, not making that clicking sound when i press it.

whats the problem and most importantly, how do i fix this?

My WiFi and Bluetooth randomly turned off the other day and will not turn back on. I was on an old iOS but updated because I read online that updating would fix it, and it did not. Hard resetting my phone also does not work. My WiFi and Bluetooth are completely blacked out. Is this a hardware issue?

I recently bought a reconditioned 12 Pro Max and upgraded straight to iOS 18.2. Everything seems to be working fine except I can't hit done or cancel in the Photos app editing (i.e. either side of the Dynamic Island) meaning I can't edit anything in the native app. Other apps don't seem to have anything in this awkward location. Is anyone on 12 Pro Max having similar issues? Otherwise it might be a hardware issue and if I can't edit anything I would return it.

Hi people ! I just uncovered an original iPhone (I think it is, anyway it's a very old iPhone with one cam and rounded edges) and it's asking to insert a SIM card but i don't got any rn, so I was wondering if there was a way to bypass this restriction.

I've got access to a pc and a mac if needed.

(If it's not possible at all, I guess I'll just buy a cheap SIM later)

My wife has an Iphone. I have an android personal phone. When she updated her IOS our messages switched to rcs chat its been working most of the time. However when that fails her phone will send sms messages to my work number (also android) instead of my personal phone. She has created a separate contact for my work number. I have un-installed and re installed my messaging app multiple times. I am unfamiliar with iPhone and am wondering if anyone has had this issue and solved it. What can we do to fix it. How to remove these files?

When i change the name on my iPhone the name then changes on my iPad and vice versa.

I use the same apple ID on both so my stuff syncs.

Any way I can change the names and have them stay different on each device?

I've tried various suggestions by Apple and others online but l am stumped.

I've named them each very unique and separate names for both first and last name so they're not trying to compete with other similar named devices in the vicinity.

I am in Brazil and I have T-Mobile, which allows me to use my phone (iphone 13, ios 18.1.1) in over 215 countries which is cool. BUT I need to have a Brazilian phone number to order food from their main food/delivery application and I can't set up an account with a foreign number. I also want to use the Brazilian number for communication with airlines to figure out some travel and possibly save some money.

So would I be able to have a Brazilian SIM and use it for some things while here and then have my regular phone use at the same time? I am aware sometimes you have to actually switch the primary SIM on iPhone.
