Why you should not feed wild animals

A comprehensive list of Australian wildlife organisations and charities deserving of our donations and support?
There are a great many groups out there big and small doing important work to help support our precious but increasingly threatened remaining wildlife, and they are all doing it hard with a great deal of expense and effort and they all need as much support as we can all give them to protect what we have left.
I know that I'm always looking for different groups to give any cash i can spare whether by direct donations or by purchasing gifts like shirts and calendars that i can give away to friends.
It would be great if we could get a long list going here in the comments of groups around the country deserving our support.
Maybe the r/australianwildlife mods could make a sticky post at the top of this sub for this purpose?

Insect ID
galleryPlease help me ID this bug, this lil fella was in NSW in the hunter region on a pumpkin. Google lens is telling me that it is Henosepilachna elaterii, a type of ladybird (this is the pre-glow-up/adulthood), that isn't found in this part of the planet. If this really is that critter, where do I report this?

Google lens says grey house spider (East Coast Queensland) is that right?
Is this a grey house spider? It was pretty calm but I was more curious about google saying it's venomous but not lethal and only causes localised pain plus swelling, is that true? Just asking out or curiosity I'm not afraid of the thing haha I even picked it up to move it over to the garden so it's not an aggressive one at all and quite small.

What moth is this?
Snapped this sitting on the spare tyre of Dad’s Trooper. Tried Googling brown moths but not much help. Links to good ID sites or any suggestions as to what this moth is would be great :)

What kind of geck is this?
galleryI've found so many native geckos on this property, there are lots of different colour variations. Are a lot of them just the same gecko with different patterns? Like pythons? Or are there just a lotta fucking species of geckos?

Frog ID
Terrible picture, I know, but best I could get before he dived under water. In our fish pond, Latrobe Valley, VIC. Sounds like a dripping tap!

These 2 chonks greeted me on my back veranda this morning. I don’t feed them I think they were just saying g’day - I don’t think old mate was impressed with my whistle.
