He's so right. There's a suit at Bungo that got paid for this decision. More concerned with the next few months of $$ than the next few years of players.

I don't blame him, why the hell is it even called "starter pack"? it will confuse new players even more.

I swear bungie is digging their own grave.

100% management is being pressured into or just straight up calling the shots on this garbage. They were what, 40% something under their projected for last year. Whoever is in charge of trying to make sure destiny makes money made this horrible decision.

It’s sad because destiny is such an amazing game with so much to offer, but it’s plagued by horrible monetization. I’ve gotten a lot of people into the game who mostly no longer play, but my up front disclaimer is always “imagine one of the most interesting, beautiful, satisfying, great games where every bit of meaningful content costs money to do”.

I say it’s like playing the best game in the world but every hour you get slapped and a dollar is taken out of your bank account.
