API Vs. Manual Data Entry - Carpal Tunnel is Real!
I cannot prove it, but I speculate that rail-focused logistics teams will experience a 98.3% reduction in Carpal Tunnel by getting API near-real-time rail car visibility into their TMS rather than copying and pasting updates from several railroad websites.
Does anyone have any recommendations for API's for the Class 1,2,3 rail roads?

Question How do you become a steam Engineer?
It’s been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I can’t find a straight answer online so is there anyone who knows how to get a job working as a steam locomotive engineer? I’m just really curious.

why amtrak didnt just buy alstom new pendolino that seems to work well instead of designing a brand new train with alstom ?
The new Avelia liberty entry in commercial service dont stop of being delayed due to conceptions problems (new platform) so my question is why they dont buy the pendolino which is a good train with a max speed of 250kmh (ok for the nec) and has proven to be a nice working train in use in italy, swiss, spain, poland and china. but they instead designed a brand new train with a lot of structural problems and will be put in revenue service 3years late.

Question What train numbers does SunRail use for its deadheads?
I was watching trains at DeBary station and noticed a number of deadheads from DeLand to Sanford Yard. Does anyone know what train numbers SunRail uses for those moves? They passed DeBary at 8:46 AM, 9:18 AM, and 10:19 AM if that helps. They were the consists that just ran P306, P308, and P312 respectively.
