My Experience Mod Team Vetted: Rent Out Websites for Passive Income
TLDR: Not Another Coaching Program - a coaching program that costs $2,980 and will teach you how to rent little websites for extra money passively AFTER some upfront work.
After several Zoom calls trying to poke holes in their business model, I think this is a damn-good way to add small, reliable, recurring income streams to whatever you’ve got going on currently.
The core engine of it is SEO so I was very curious as I’ve done SEM/SEO for 20+ years. I’ve never fully endorsed a program on this sub I created 12 years ago until now. The program is legit and the methodology is sound. I saw their private community and it’s active with lots of rich discussions. This is actually a GREAT program most people can succeed at. The only caveat I would give is if you just aren’t good with the Internet (like you have trouble setting up your gmail or a facebook page) this might be tough for you.
For everyone else, here’s their pitch…
--
Hey, it’s Shiv and Kyle from NotAnotherCoachingProgram.com.
Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way:
• This course costs $2,980, lifetime access. I realize you might not have that much; or maybe you’d saw off your own arm before dropping that kinda cash on a coaching program. I get it. Feel free to bounce now so I don’t waste your time.
• We teach you how to build, rank, and rent out itty-bitty websites to small businesses wanting more customers. Aka, local SEO. Not new. Not sexy. But tried and true.
• Why teach? Because the money is great, obviously. But also, there’s endless niche/city combo’s, and a community means more help ranking sites and closing deals.
• Downsides? There’s a few. It’s not instant money. SEO takes time (Maybe 2-6 Months). Also, some business owners may not see the value or can’t handle more leads. Some are just annoying to deal with. Others will stop paying after a few months, for whatever reason. Overall, though, it’s still pretty awesome.
• Each site has overhead of about $20-$30 per month. But the lowest we typically rent the sites out for is $500 per month. Pretty solid ROI.
Assuming I haven’t scared you off yet, let’s go through some FAQs.
How does this work?
1- Pick an easy local niche to get leads for. “Spray Foam Insulation Carlsbad, California,” for example.
2- Make a small, simple website and optimize it for relevant search terms.
3- Get it ranked in Google, Bing, Apple Maps, and AI tools like ChatGPT.
4- Add a local phone number that can track and forward every call that comes in.
5- Hit up some Spray Foam Insulation companies in Carlsbad (to stick with this hypothetical example) and offer them free leads for a week. When someone agrees, route the leads to them. We or some of our hungry students can do the outreach for you if it’s not your thing.
6- After a week of the free leads doing all the selling for you, tell them, “It’ll be $850/month to keep ‘em coming.” Or whatever our custom pricing tool says is fair for that niche and city. Yes, we can close them, too, if that part sounds too scary (It’s not). But, it will cost you.
7- This is when it becomes truly passive because the site is ranked, the phone number is auto-forwarding to your client and all you have to do after that is run their credit card every month. If you priced the site right, you’ll never have to speak with your client again because they’ll forget they’re even paying you.
8- Now rinse and repeat.
Hmm. Are you sure this is legit?
Well, put it this way:
Uber, Airbnb, Alibaba, Angi, House, Zillow, Thumbtack, and Apartments.com all use the same model.
Connect buyer with seller, take a sliver to deliver. We just do it on a granular level. So yeah. Not only is it legitimate, it’s actually kinda brilliant.
Who’s this for?
Anyone, anywhere, any background, as long as you have some ambition, grit, and of course, basic computer skills. NO CODING INVOLVED.
We use drag and drop website builders like Weebly & Site Panda so zero previous web design experience is needed.
The more time you can devote to it, the better. But if you’re not in a rush, take your time and build up your digital real estate empire over time.
Everything’s done online - So no, you do not have to do this in your own city. Nor do you have to meet anyone in person - unless you want to.
How much does the course cost?
Like I said, our coaching program is $2,980 - Lifetime Access to the course material and private Facebook Group.
Then, to run the business, you’re looking at less than $30 per month per website. (Which covers your domain, hosting, local tracking number, and research software.)
Chump change considering the potential.
How much does an average site make?
$600/month is a safe estimate.
Most of ours do $1,000 to $2,000/month. Sometimes more.
Yeah, but, for how long?
For as long as you own the site.
No different than renting out houses or apartments, right?
And if someone stops paying, same thing - you just find a new “tenant.”
Click a few buttons, reroute the leads to them, keep collecting checks.
Dead serious…
I made a site 5 years ago that’s been paying me $1,000 a month the entire time. That’s $60,000 and counting!
You could hand these off to your kids one day.
How much work is involved?
A good amount in the beginning and then hardly any once the website is built, ranked, and you’ve partnered with a business.
You could make a site in a day.
Then ask others in our group for some backlinks (which are like votes in the SEO process).
From there, it’ll take a few weeks to a few months to jump to page 1, depending on your niche and city.
In the meantime, go make more.
Soon, you’ll have emails and calls trickling in.
Leverage those leads to close a deal… and then it’s basically mailbox money from there. Okay, how soon will I make money with this?
Anywhere from one month to six months after starting, depending on a number of factors like:
1- How well you selected your niche & city. We prefer low-hanging fruit - the search terms with very weak SEO competition.
2- Your ability to trust the process, not overcomplicate things and just follow the exact steps taught.
3- How willing you are to reach out to business owners to offer them free leads and then ask for money.
From there, it’s just focus, execution, and consistency.
If you do your part, no reason you can’t have a handful of websites generating leads within the first month.
And then you start landing clients in month two…
And by month three? You’ve got a G-Wagon parked outside your new mansion, and you hardly ever run into your live-in servants, which is nice.
(I’m joking.)
How many of these can I have?
As many as you can comfortably manage.
No business is infinitely scalable though. Eventually you’ll need a team to go bigger and bigger. Anything below 20 clients is 98% passive. But 20 clients is easily $15k to $25k a month.
As you grow to 40 and 50 clients, you’ll have some credit cards that decline that you have to follow up with and you have higher odds of needy clients who want to ask you questions.
But this is something you can do as a one-person operation and easily get to 10, 20, maybe 30 rental sites with minimal maintenance if any at all.
Don’t most businesses already have a website?
Yes, and if they happen to be at the top of the search results, they probably don’t need us. But for the vast majority, who’re buried back on page 4 of Google, it’s a different story. Their website is a digital dust collector.
Whereas, yours? Will be a cash factory churning out profits… that’ll make the amount they’re paying you seem like pennies in a wishing well.
Plus, you can structure deals to remove risk.
So instead of a flat monthly fee, they could pay you $5 per phone call or 10% of booked business that comes through your site, for instance.
Boom. How can they lose?
Wait, why wouldn’t they just do this themselves?
Most simply don’t have the time, energy, or inclination to nerd-out on this stuff, even if it is a game-changer for their business.
And remember, for every dollar they throw your way, they’re making that back several times over.
So most of ‘em are more than cool with it.
Won’t it get saturated if you tell everyone?
Not gonna be an issue.
Why?
Because you would have to multiply every type of local business by every city on this big blue planet - and then go do this in however many millions of niches that would be - before you could say it’s cooked.
And we’re a looong ways from that.
Why do I need a course? Can’t I figure this out myself?
Sure, anyone can figure anything out on their own with the internet. But you’ll be banging your head against the wall for a year and most people don’t have that type of stamina before making a single dollar.
We lay out the exact step by step process that we have used over and over again. Our repeat student successes within 6 months reassures us that we have our training nailed down.
Are there any renewal fees or mandatory purchases from us?
No further purchases from our program are required, but we do offer some outsourcing services:
1 - If you want our team to build you a fully optimized site, that’ll run ya $300 per site.
2 - If you want to use our proprietary software to build your site, that’ll run you a $25 platform fee plus $7.50 fee per site per month.
3 - If you want to use our proprietary phone software, depending on usage, that’ll run you ~$7.50 per month per number.
Let’s be clear though, if you want to use another website builder or other phone number service, be our guest. It won’t hurt you at all.
Fine. Can I see some examples?
Thought you’d never ask.
Visit NotAnotherCoachingProgram.com for a bunch of case studies and interviews with current students.
At the bottom of that page is a link to our calendar if you ever think you’d like to join. Either way, appreciate you reading this.

Social Media Success story ($4k a month from $0 a month)
I have tried many strategies to make money in the past but this is the first that has worked for me: the plr affiliate method. (This is a long read so I apologise in advance)
So first things first, what is PLR? I wasn’t sure either until January of this year when I stumbled across a video on YouTube. This is Private Label Rights, this means that essentially you buy the rights to sell something as your own and you keep all of the profits. This can be e-books and courses.
This essentially was a lightbulb switch moment for me. I could get a finished product and sell it as my own and keep all of the profits. I tried creating content myself and created a shopify website and put my finished product ebook in my bio (YouTube any video on how to list a digital product on shopify). I then put the shopify link in my bio, this was not a success and I realised that I would have to think outside the box to make this work.
I had another moment of inspiration, what if I was able to ask social media accounts with an established following to put the link in their bio and I would offer them a percentage of every sale they make (I offered a 50/50 cut). So for the next few days I grinded and sent direct messages and emails to Instagram and tiktok accounts, I mainly targeted accounts with large followings that did not have any links currently in their bio and I have had the greatest success with these accounts. I was able to create the affiliate programme on shopify using a plug called uppromote, there are many videos that explain how to set this up on YouTube.
So why would accounts with large following agree to my proposal despite them supplying all of the following?
The answer is simple, a lot of people have a great ability to create content, but perhaps do not have the business acumen or have the motivation to create a revenue stream themselves. This method provides them a easy solution to this problem.
After a lot of grinding and a lot of messages I had gained clients and five months later I’m at the point where I have 31 affiliates selling my e books and courses in their bio. The total following of these accounts is 8.4 million followers across all platforms - a following I would not have been able to attain myself with my content creation skills.
The numbers, what everyone is here for! This method has generated me $11,000 in profit since September (50% of sales went to affiliates so $22,000 revenue). Things started out slow but are picking up fast, last month has been particularly good, generating me $4,000 in profit from easy and passive income.
Problems and issues I’ve encountered: understandingly so the accounts often want to see the product they are selling before they agree to be an affiliate for the product. I originally had a problem finding high quality products, I found high quality plr on Etsy, I cannot put the link on this due to the rules of this sub but be warned some are better quality than others. The particular bundle I purchased had high quality products and a range of products to suit different niches which was important.
I’m sure you are wondering the following question: if you are making money off of this why are you sharing with us? The answer is simple, there are hundreds of thousands of social media accounts with large followings, this method is unsaturated and I figured it could help make someone else’s life a little easier financially.
Why do I recommend this method? 1.) Once established this method is completely passive 2.) You gain exposure to large followings that would take years to build. 3.) relatively low set up costs. The bundle I recommend purchasing is $50 and shopify monthly payments are roughly $50 per month. There are no other costs incurred. 4.) unlimited earnings potential. There’s no ceiling as to what you can earn. The more accounts that agree to become an affiliate for you the more you will make
I hope you enjoyed the read , if you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask them below.

My YouTube Scripts did 1.4 millions views, client ghosted me
My client is on the AI hype train, focusing entirely on his AI writing tool while leaving his YouTube channels unattended. He has multiple faceless channels that perform well, but with only ad revenue, he is not interested in affiliates, sponsorships.
I know what I do has value because I've repeated it in multiple videos, so it's not just a one-off thing.
What I do is replicate a similar style of video that went viral. I did '25 1970s Home Features We All Miss,' which got 370k views, and then '25 More 1970s Home Features,' which got 170k views, with a month's gap in between.
It's incredibly hard to find new channels to work on; any suggestions would be appreciated!

Realistic ways to make money using your house?
Hi all, my first time posting something. Been looking for a job for the past few months and it's pretty bad out there for someone like me. I've been an entrepreneur since out of college and was somewhat successful but for the past 5 years, it's gone bad to really really bad. My mindset is not right and physically not as healthy as I want. Looking into ways to make extra income using my "asset" which is mostly in my house right now. Any ideas or suggestions? I was looking to go into solar sales and create a faceless youtube channel and build a lead generation system for the solar industry but the fear and doubt is pretty strong so looking to get some ideas or thoughts from everyone. Appreciate it. From Houston TX so sun is pretty much year round here.

Seeking Advice/Help Apps for "passive income" - are cash or rewards better?
For people who use survey/game apps where you can make a bit of money, do you think that it's more "profitable" and worth your time to use apps that pay you in actual money OR apps that give you rewards, cashbacks, gift cards, and things like that?
Asking not because I believe you can have an actual, serious income stream from these apps, but since I'd like to do them during my day job (it's 10 hours a day, mostly watching screens), I want to know which are more worthy.
I've tried Cashyeah - they pay you for surveys and videos, and you can withdraw money daily via PayPal, but it's not that much. I've also used Sweatcoin, and the idea behind it is very cool, but you can barely get a discount or offer, and it's not always something you actually want.
So - if you have to choose between rewards and straight-up cash in apps like these - which is the most profitable? And which would you recommend?

Seeking Advice/Help I don’t wanna be broke again!
Hello buddies, last year I went through some hard shit and focused on getting the money which was the solution to 99% of my probs. So after a lot of hustle and money management. I made approximately 1200$ while still studying and i’m in my 4th year university already. But things got worse and I started skimming from my savings and i got 1k left. I have a passive income as i was trying to establish that but it’s slow and doesn’t put that much money in my pocket. So I started thinking about buying stocks as it is the first thing that pops in mind when thinking about something that is not that risky. But i don’t really know where to start nor if it’s a good idea for me in my situation.
And i don’t wanna be broke again!
Ps: my father is no longer supporting me financially because he left work.

Seeking Advice/Help Struggling to stay afloat and tired
Hello all, I am here just asking for guidance. I’m a mom of four (oldest moved out, so it’s just 3 now). And I am needing guidance on how I can earn money passively or how can I earn money with my crafting business? I do work but they are mostly short term positions. I have many different skills under my belt and even learn new ones but no permanent job wants to hire me. I do not have any troubled history nor do I do any illegal substances. I’m as square as square can get. I am needing something that I can implement immediately with zero cost. I don’t have any savings to my name because I am literally living paycheck to paycheck. And to be honest I am sick of it at this big age I am. Besides going back to school to get my BA degree (which I am doing) I turned to Reddit because I have used all the resources I could to either gain knowledge or assistance with getting my small business lifted off the ground.

Affiliate Marketing It’s all about passive income!
Hey Redditors,
I wanted to share my journey of building a steady stream of passive income and provide some tips on how you can do the same. Passive income has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to earn money while focusing on other aspects of my life. Here’s how I did it:
Identify your niche: First I identified areas where I had knowledge and interest. This made it easier to stay motivated and put in the initial effort required to set up passive income streams. In my case affiliate marketing.
By promoting products and services I believe in, I earn commissions through affiliate marketing.
I joined a platform that offers an automated duplication system, which drives highly motivated leads through my funnel every month. This system ensures continuous team growth and income generation with minimal effort on my part.
Stay Consistent and Patient: Building passive income streams takes time and effort initially. It’s important to stay consistent and patient. The rewards are worth it in the long run.
Final Thoughts: Passive income has given me financial freedom and the ability to focus on what I love. If you’re looking to build passive income, start by identifying your strengths and interests, and explore the various options available. Remember, it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, but with dedication and smart investments, you can achieve financial independence.
Feel free to ask any questions or share your own experiences with passive income. Let’s help each other on this journey!
Cheers,

Seeking Advice/Help Any ideas for passive crypto-earning on iOS or web w/o KYC?
I’ve tried Pi network and a few other more sketchy cryptocurrencies along the same lines (Bee Network and Omega Network), but they require KYC. I’m okay with things a little less passive (I use Silencio, which I love, and I am experimenting with COIN app). I do not want to make in-app purchases, unless it is with another cryptocurrency.
Edit: I also tried SocialGood, which has the same problem.

Offering Advice/Resource Buying Oil and Gas Mineral rights? Don’t forget about Decline Curves.
Thinking About Mineral Rights? Don’t Ignore Decline Curves If you’re exploring mineral rights as a passive income source, one of the biggest things you need to understand is decline curves. When a new oil or gas well starts producing, the initial output can be impressive. But production doesn’t stay high forever—it drops, often quickly at first, and then more gradually over time. This drop-off is called the decline curve, and it directly impacts how much income you’ll see in the long run. A common mistake is relying on the “48-month cash flow” metric to judge an investment. It’s a terrible way to evaluate long-term value because it often focuses on the initial production boom without accounting for how sharply the well’s output will drop in later years. Sure, it might look great on paper, but if the well is in steep decline, you could be left with minimal income—or none at all—after just a few years. Always ask for a detailed decline curve projection, and remember, cash flow sustainability matters more than short-term numbers. Production decline varies widely based on the type of well and recovery methods used. Conventional wells might have steadier declines compared to unconventional shale wells, which often experience sharp early declines. If the operator is using enhanced recovery techniques like waterflooding, artificial lift, or gas lift, the production profile can look very different. These methods can extend the life of a well or stabilize production for longer periods, but they come with added operational costs. Understanding the geology of the area and the recovery methods in play is crucial for evaluating the long-term viability of your investment.

Offering Advice/Resource Should Knowledge/Information Be Free? Re: stop being lied to.
I'm creating this post in response to the amount of flak I got in my "Stop Being Lied To" post. I'm completely disheartened and I wanted to clarify some things. First of all, I am not selling a course, or eBook. I said I pulled a few pages out of it. I realize now that, the name and simply me saying that this little excerpt came from an eBook that I wrote, triggered the parasitic nature of the sub.
The very first comment and the comment that provoked the question.
Should Information Be Free?
The art of teaching is as old as time, in fact the same age as this "grift" ThePlanetBroke, is talking about. We wouldn't be anywhere without a teacher. Someone has to teach, and the value of what that person teaches is based on what it took to learn it, it is then paid for by the person who values the information, and the cycle continues. If you REALLY think about it, that "grift" TPB is talking about goes for anything, and can apply to many areas of life, for example; cooking, producing, chemistry, or whatever. Because in all honesty, you can go learn it yourself FOR FREE, but instead you want it given to you FOR FREE because you value your time and money... How does that work? It doesn't. Which brings me to my question, should information be free? If yes, then you don't value what you know.
How High Does Digital Products Rank in Terms of Passive Income?
How High Does Digital Products Rank In Terms of "Passive Income"
Netflix is a SaaS, because it's simply a website that hosts movies. A service you can do for yourself, that someone made into a product and eventually a media company. Podcasts however may be correct, because it isn't a software, however I was specifically talking about IHeartRadio, Discord and things of the sort that people use as a service. Real estate, dividend stocks, and peer-to-peer lending take money to make money. Most people don't have the money to allocate to different investments. They need a way to MAKE money, not invest. They'll most likely end up withdrawing the funds they invested for when the time calls for it, thinking that that's what it's there for, hard times and whatnot. Once a digital product is made, it's made. However you get it to sell, is up to you, no work has to be done on your part thereafter, you have a stream of income. I say selling digital products is the best strategy.
The Real Information
Stop consuming ways to get money and start producing them. When you create content or digital products you start to look at the internet and a lot of things on your phone differently, and I'm sorry for thinking I'd be able to transfer that thought process over a Reddit post but, take advantage of your computer or phone, don't be a slave to these devices. Learn a software, program, app or whatever. It pays off. That was the point of me saying "photos =, videos =, music =" because many apps can produce these file types. Find what's in demand, Netflix is simply a website that hosts .mp4s, SoundCloud simply hosts .mp3s, YouTube does both. Not saying that you need to create a website but think about it, there's a value in everything. Everything is built upon the foundation, the files. This is the internet, you don't like something? You can create your own version. AI is based upon Machine Learning (ML) which is built upon Python, and sometimes C. Imagine the wealth the people in those circles amassed because they stayed at the foundation, and the wealth they potentially missed out on (crypto, trading, dropshipping, etc)
Brother, the digital product is the business.
The Product IS The Business
I wasn't telling people to sell courses, if that's all you got from it. I'm sorry. The digital product is the business. Whatever it is. The only thing you have to worry about when creating a digital product is getting it to your audience. If that means paying an ad, so be it, if it's good, it'll sell itself. Once you create the product you're in business, when it starts profiting, you're an entrepreneur. This is much more rewarding than investing your money, you will see returns. You will make money in your sleep, you will be paid, you will have a stream of income. Not investments, equity, savings or whatever. You can create another digital product and have your first one be the fuel for your investments. The point is, your time is important. I know everyone was mad I probably said something they probably already knew, so here's a few cookies.
Digital Products and Ways to Make Money:
Canva Creators
upload your designs to Canva and get paid for how much or often people use them.
Shutterstock Contributors
Everyone's seen a beautiful sunrise/sunset before, you probably have a few on your phone already. As long as the picture isn't bad, why not upload it? Take as many pictures of as many things as possible in your area, and eventually you will have a portfolio. Upload it, set it, and forget it. Not saying you will be making money instantly but It will be akin to collecting royalties when it does. With generated AI images becoming more popular, most agencies value authentic images. Not to mention some AI models get trained from stock imagery. Find what's trending in photography and if it's accessible to you, go for it, all you need is a decent phone. For example, I need a stock video of a person in Staples getting printing my digital artwork printed for them, and many other sellers need a video of a person actually getting their prints done. This will encourage people to keep buying the digital print. Which brings me to my next point..
Etsy Sellers
Digital prints, art, templates, etc. Etsy is a special place because it's actually meant for personally handmade products or items, nothing commercial. Them deciding to offer digital products made it quite a unique place to sell to me because for any physical market on there, in my mind you can contrast a digital one there too. Wall art, calendars, handmade jewelry (guides), anything.
Amazon KDP
Even though half the flak I got was about the eBook or "course", when you properly make one. It's in Amazon, lol. That being said when it sells, it sells. It's passive. That's the point. When you properly make a course, it's on Udemy and whatnot. It's passive. But before all of that, the eBook started off as a .doc file, or .pdf, something you have access to and can create. Your courses are simply tutorials. If you have a Samsung Galaxy or any smartphone that supports Samsung Notes, you have an option to "save as file", save it as a Microsoft Word file, and upload it to KDP. Of course you would have to write the book, but the point is you can write it in your phone, that's the hard part. Writing the book. It's not hard to conform to Amazon's cover and dimension requirements. And wanna know what's the craziest part? AI can write the book for you.
I honestly feel like the people who replied to my first post are crabs in a barrel. A barrel I'm not even in... They're/you're too caught up in trying to get what I'm saying for free, that they're not even getting it.
