I know that many of the newer residence halls have ladders for loft beds. I’m in an older dorm that doesn’t have these ladders. Is it possible that there are extra, if so where could I find one?

Hello! I’m from Eugene, but am currently a senior at OHSU-PSU for public health. I want to go to grad school, but for a degree more general (just not to general). There are so many groups of people I want to work with (all in helping related fields). Thus, I was thinking getting a master’s in the nonprofit sphere would be transferable regardless of the group of people being served. I’m also scared of going into government work with the likelihood of a lot of departments being cut or defunded, especially with the new admin..

So, if you know about the nonprofit management masters program or were in it, please let me know your thoughts!

Got into UO for fall 25 as a freshman, got registered for housing but wondering when the registration opens and how to most likely get into unthank, really the only dorm I want I can’t do communal bathrooms but what’s my best chance at getting the hall I want?

Are there specific dorms that freshman tend to live in freshman year? Was accepted last month for Fall 2025 and want to register for housing as soon as it opens, assume you don't pick dorms that soon, but just want an idea of what dorms are best for freshman? Visited campus earlier this month and everything seemed walkable. Thank you!

hey everyone! i'm a student at UO and i'm looking for housing for next year. unfortunately, my finances are super tight right now so i'm thinking about sharing a room, and splitting the rent in half. is that feasible for apartments around campus? also, PM me if you would be interested in splitting a room! we could move in another bed if it's okay with the apartment, or i'd be willing to sleep on a cot. i can keep my space clean and mind my business :)

Hey just wanted to ask since I’m starting in spring what are the best three dorms to be at? I don’t mind noise buts what the best for life and location?

I plan on attending U of O soon after I finish up at community college. I was eyeing the Landscape Architecture program but I don't want to have to spend 4 years in school in addition to my general ed, so after talking to a professor there I decided on the shorter Environmental Design degree.

If anyone here is a part of that undergrad or a recent graduate I'd love to chat with you a bit and learn more about the program and it's alumni resources. I've tried connecting with U of O advisors to no avail and the professor I first spoke with I think is no longer with the school.

My son got accepted to OSU and UO for 2025. Trying to decide between the two. He got WUE from OSU $60,000/4 yrs. Merit scholarship from UO $30,000/4yrs. We are from California. He does have a decent 529 that will pay for the rest. He will be a freshman psych major with an emphasis on criminology/forensics. Question- which of the two would be best for his major, college feel but not JUST college town. He doesn't mind snow but doesn't want to trudge through it to get to class. We still need to tour both campuses. He's coming from a top football high school so he's used to the hype that goes with that. He did cross country all four years and I think UO is known for that especially affiliated with Nike. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Does university of Oregon have any sports medicine chiropractors on staff for basketball, track, football, etc..?

I am a high school junior and would like to know if applying to the UO honors college is worth it. For context, I would major in either Premed or data science. I also have 1440 with some okay extracurriculars. Is the honors college suitable for premed? What are some perks that I get out of it?

I am in a triple. One of my roommates is great, the other is awful. Some really concerning stuff has just come to light about them and neither of us feel safe rooming with them. Is there a way to request they be moved out instead of the other way around? It doesn’t seem fair for my good roommate and I to have to move out instead, two against one and all that.

I was wondering if there was anyone who is interested in working with augmented reality as a career goal and the possible opportunity’s that are available at the university of oregon. I know there is a masters that is directed towards that but it involves being some sort of journalism undergraduate degree.

I’m a current CS major with a minor in digital humanities which I have found to be the most practical for this goal of mine, I have thought a lot about art and technology as well to work with 3d models.

I envision the technology becoming as practical as a smartphone, for example when you look at a building the name of it would appear above etc. Practical ways this technology can be used. I could ramble on the uses I have literally written a long ass research paper on it.

Hey im not used to posting on reddit but im very stressed on whether i will get accepted to U of O. I live on an overseas military base and am taking a gap year working full time and traveling. I have a gpa of 3.3 and an SAT of 1130, not great but i struggled a lot during high school with multiple deaths in my family, my parents nearly divorcing, and a very very toxic relationship. i did 4 years of track, 1 year tennis, 1 year debate, Art Honors Society member, worked a part time job, got selected for an art camp in fall 2022 and 2023, and have a silver award and honorable mention from the 2024 scholastic art and writing conpetition. i worked as a TA for the library and a ceramics class. i am currently working 40 hours a week at popeyes and burger king, trying to save as much money as possible and travel Europe while my family and i are stationed here in Germany. I am also getting two letters of reccomendation from my old teacher and coach. really need honest opinions bc im so worried that my gpa and SAT score are going to tank me.

I’m getting my application together to apply to transfer for this coming fall. I don’t quite have my AA but almost. Any insight to transfer applicant rates of acceptance?

Anybody who has been through the leasing process for a house/apartment through AG Campus Housing, Campus Connection, Mallard Properties, etc.. When can I expect to see Fall 2025 leases to drop on the websites?
