How good is the accounting program?

Hello! UofO has caught my attention and I'm considering whether or not I should apply as an aspiring accounting major.

I've read good things about the Lundquist College of Business as a whole, but I haven't found a ton of information about the Accounting program specifically. If anyone could answer some of my questions, it'd be greatly appreciated!

  1. How are the professors? Engaging? Helpful?
    - Have you had good experiences with them?

  2. How often do students get recruited from the Big4, if at all?
    - Are they recruited from any other firms that you believe are worth considering?

  3. What are the networking opportunities like in general?
    - Does UofO provide lots of resources (networking events, career fairs, etc)?

  4. How hard is it to find good internships?

  5. How do you feel about the quality of education?
    - In general, good? Bad? Could it have been better somewhere else?
    - Do you think what you learned prepared you for the CPA exam (if you took it)?
