I never believed until today Sighting

I was outside, grabbing stuff out the car after me and my husband went shopping for our daughter. It was just me and him, of course I saw it first and he didn't so he's been busting my chops since. I saw a freaking ufo and I couldn't believe it. I didn't even have a phone. The weird thing is you could see search lights after I spotted it. It had blueish green lights and it was definitely a ufo I feel crazy but I figured I'd join here and let others know.

I'm sorry I didn't believe any of you who did before, but now I know it's real.

Time: ECT Location: Princeton NC Date: 12/27/24

Update: changes drone to ufo sorry if it was misleading! Update: https://imgur.com/gallery/art-EZZ9mtm

I drew this image above I am by no means an artist but this is what I saw.

A similar thing happened to my husband and I on a rural road with our dog last weekend. We were facing each other and he saw it behind me with a bright spotlight/glow. I could see him and the sky lit up but not the orb. He has dismissed a lot of my talk on the topic but he was amazed that night.

I saw a similar UFO to the OP too. Same blue/green color (more obvious in the photos posted in the thread than in the video.)

No need to “believe” this is our reality whether we like it or not. you have a right to know.

Believing implies it may or may not be true, like if we believe in fiction or fairy tails.

THANK YOU

Gdam, this is the first time ive ever heard anyone else with this perspective. To believe is to inherently possess doubt, and there are just certain things surrounding this topic that one cannot reasonably doubt.

To me, it’s like someone saying “I believe in glass.”

45

u/HanakusoDays 11h ago

They claim glass is real. But I can see right through that malarkey.

13

u/subatomicaccess 6h ago

That's what we're after, isn't it? TRANSPARENCY!

1

u/BusyBoonja 1h ago

I've got some news that may shatter you

18

u/_Nychthemeron 15h ago

Hey, now. You gotta let tempered glass know you believe in it; it has very low self-esteem and you don't want your shower door or fancy glass desk to fall to pieces.

4

u/forestofpixies 12h ago

But you acknowledge glass exists, therefore there’s no saying you believe glass exists because then someone else could say they do not believe in glass existing.

11

u/bsmith149810 12h ago

Everyone knows glass isn’t real.

Or: “I don’t believe in Climate Change.”

12

u/Muted_Muscle1609 16h ago

There is plenty of reason to doubt

4

u/MrJoshOfficial 16h ago

You should look into the UFO sightings over nuclear bases then see if you still doubt the existence of the phenomenon.

5

u/Moonpig16 14h ago

Even if true, how does that explain anything?

6

u/forestofpixies 12h ago

UFO/UAP means unidentified in both acronyms. Meaning no one, not even the government, knows the origins of the craft and cannot explain it. They exist. Their origin is a whole other can of worms that we most definitely haven’t quite cracked open yet (depending on whom you ask, of course).

4

u/Loxatl 9h ago

Or, they have. And there is zero real mystery to the people that "needed" to know. Either seems plenty plausible.

Like the narrative that these drones were looking for nuclear material. They'd never fuckin tell us about that until later. I'm unconvinced we know enough - and until then beyond awknowledging something is happening, it's all belief.

We just had a Chinese spy balloon fly over military installations

Im sure it's a unidentified government drone of some sorts

7

You should read the testimonies of military personnel that have witnessed UAPs interact with our Nuclear technology.

Very good way to say it.

3

u/confusers 10h ago

I was going to take your side when responding to another comment, but as I started to piece together the point I wanted to make, I realized that I think "your side" needs some clarification. So, rather than oppose or defend anything, I'll just state my own perspective, and it may or may not be aligned with your intent.

What are things that can be believed? The Oxford dictionary has two definitions for "believe," the main difference between them being whether the focus is on opinion or truth. The thing is, neither opinion nor truth are compatible with empiricism. Empiricism (by which I mean, essentially, the scientific method and falsifiability) is one of the few tools we have for examining reality that is hard to argue with, other than that it does not accept inductive reasoning; although this is merely a fact about what it means to be empirical, it can be upsetting to people that a chain of thought that they find completely intuitive and that "proves" something about reality (that is, claims a truth, which is one of the things that "believe" can apply to) can be so easily dismissed. Empiricism is not the only way to reach some sort of conclusion about the world. Inductionism is a perfectly valid approach. Empiricism can explore the entirety of falsifiable physics, but there is a lot of our reality that we cannot observe (metaphysics) and a lot of theories that are unfalsifiable. Induction can break right through these barriers, and is arguably the method of thinking we as a species are more inclined toward, for whatever reason.

When it comes to UFOs, there is only one thing I can think of that is both falsifiable and for which there is tons of empirical evidence for but which is not widely accepted outside of the UFO community: there are things in the air that seem to move kind of like aircraft but do not have human origin. Note the absence of any kind of interpretation. It's also falsifiable, but has not been falsified. The thing that makes people so doubtful about it, I think, is that most of the overwhelming amount of data is utter horse shit. Only a small percentage of it (which still amounts to a large amount of data) supports the existence of UFOs. If most of the evidence you see for UFOs is clearly identifiable, you won't be convinced by it. Worse, this is a subject that people make hoaxes about, meaning our filter for whether data is good or bad is low quality, and so we (correctly!) become accustomed to not trusting our own eyes.

So, UFOs are "real." Does that mean their existence is "true"? Truth and reality are very different things. Truth goes beyond the real, and both it and "existence" are rabbit holes. We don't want to get too hung up on such ideas. This is the point I've been trying to build toward. "Belief" implies a search for "truth," which is not empirical. We don't need to believe anything, in particular, for empiricism to work. Empiricism has the best track record, so far, of producing results. If we want to create change, coming to believe something or convincing somebody else to believe something is not the way to do it.

5

u/Moonpig16 14h ago

Objective fact is what makes it reality, though.

Belief is all you have, which is why you keep falling for nonsense, your standards are so low.

2

u/Arclet__ 8h ago

It is 100% a belief. It is a belief that there is some NHI out there and it is responsbile for some UFO sighting.

People have no idea if the NHI exist, they don't even know what a UFO or UAP is, yet people think it is true that NHI are the cause. How is that not a belief.

1

u/Bowtie16bit 13h ago

There is so much unknown and speculative, and so much to not trust, that there is only believing or not believing. There is no knowing yet.

0

u/Mammoth_Elk_3807 10h ago

Then produce empirically testable proof.

0

u/aintnothin_in_gatlin 10h ago

Can you please look up empirical evidence and come back.

3

u/Mammoth_Elk_3807 10h ago

Cool, please list it.

-1

u/aintnothin_in_gatlin 10h ago edited 10h ago

Ok let me say this in a more clear way. Can you show me empirical evidence of consciousness? How about the idea of beauty? What about love? Friendship?

Can’t science only prove when things aren’t true? Some would say that. So…can we prove that there is NO other life in the hundreds of billions of galaxies

→ More replies

1

u/Neither_Amphibian165 8h ago

I see where you're coming from but I don't 100% agree. For instance, you can believe in something that is true, before you have any scientific evidence. That's kind of the nature of a hypothesis - it's a belief or conjecture. Then you go about attempting to prove it.

If you could draw it and upload it to Imgur to post here I’d love to see it! Especially since you said it was a saucer, most NJ drones haven’t been able to clearly see a shape like that.

40

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

Give me some time tomorrow snd I will draw what I saw. This is insane to me I truly feel bad I thought people were crazy, yet here I am after my very first encounter.

16

u/Pandoras-effect 19h ago

Try to do it asap if you can - it's best to draw while it's still fresh in your memory.

I can’t wait until everyone that thinks others are “crazy” has an experience. Enjoy your ontological shock.

22

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

8

u/Musicmonkey34 19h ago

Thank you! I would be terrified if I saw that. Can you please clarity, is that big curve the motion of the object, or the edge of like 1/5th of the object? (Like, only seeing part of the saucer.)

18

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

The part of it we saw. It was still but then disappeared when I saw it. Also sorry about deleting an earlier comment someone commented saying I shared a little too much about my home so I deleted it cause it spooked me since they were right.

3

u/Musicmonkey34 11h ago

All good, you’re smart not to share too much personal info. Thank you so much for sharing!

7

u/Melodic_Fart_ 19h ago

It was a saucer for sure

That’s not a drone, then. That’s a UFO/UAP. I would update your post because calling it a “drone” is misleading.

5

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

Oh okay I gotcha!

4

u/HarpyCelaeno 19h ago

Was it a saucer or a drone?

9

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

Saucer. I just use drone cause I’m one of those paranoid people about the big G

1

u/Careless-Shift3048 12h ago

Why didn't you record a video or pic? Did other people around you see it?

2

u/Possible_Use3849 8h ago

Left my phone inside on charger since I put my daughter to bed after we got home. Even if I was lucky to have my phone it would have died. 2% battery. Husband didn’t see it nor did he have his phone either. We were just grabbing stuff we bought out the car when I saw this. All though others are making me feel stupid. Which I figured that is common here, but I really saw what I tried my best to draw

2

u/bbarron693 19h ago

How big was it if you had to guess? Was it more like an object or ball of light?

6

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago edited 19h ago

Object for sure. It was a large house I assume I posted a drawing I did of what I saw

17

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

I also assume it was a darker color than what people consider the standard light grey on them. Because of the light reflections. It was amazing but scary

8

u/AcanthisittaGlobal30 17h ago

The one I saw in 2008-9ish. It was light grey ,also a saucer.
Still feel like whatever it was was trolling me since I was alone in my front yard ,sitting on my car in the driveway shining a small sized spot light into the sky , then It just flew directly through my light so it knew it would be seen...first thought was will it come back , then went to more rational thoughts like probably the govt or even foreign govt ..then a lil bit of oh crap hit. And I hopped off the car and walked inside . 😂 I hope I get to see another one

2

u/PokerChipMessage 3h ago

It's crazy how the world works. This person makes a Reddit account and a day later sees a UFO. What a week they've had.

18

u/bflow0718 18h ago

I saw a triangle shaped craft back in 2011 in GA. It made no sound. 2 people on the highway in front of me pulled over as well to observe it. After probably 2 minutes it didn’t fly away, it just vanished. I remember it having white lights around the outside of it with a red light in the center. None of them were blinking and it was maybe 300 ft from ground level.

2

u/steely_dong 8h ago

I saw the EXACT SAME THING taking a piss at night in the middle of nowhere, panhandle TX.

Was looking at the stars while doing my business and noticed a triangular patch of the sky was missing. Then I noticed it move.

It was close enough to the ground that I could hit it with a golf ball + baseball bat.

No sound at all.

I watched it for a while and started to get really creeped out so I got back in my car and hauled ass.

Should've video taped. Next time.

I see them every night, one night I saw one right over the house they are the size of a pickup truck and more like a helicopter

22

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

Maybe the distance made it look huge. But this one looked huge compared to that. It was above the lake where we park. But wow every night? If it showed up does that mean it’s been in this area? Will it come back? Should I keep a look out and search?

5

u/dadeclined1 19h ago

How big do you think it was approximately? Did it seem like human technology?

18

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

I think as big as our car shop building that can hold 3 cars and extra. Nothing seemed human about it or the size

6

u/dadeclined1 19h ago

Wow, I'm only about an hr away in Durham. I can't believe they are that close... so again, you don't think humans made the craft you witnessed? It came from somewhere else in your opinion?

1

u/SexualPie 8h ago

so do you think its a monster or an alien? because space ships absolutely dont need to "feed"

1

u/steely_dong 8h ago

Maybe alien space ships do.

1

u/SexualPie 8h ago

that... doesnt make sense.

1

u/steely_dong 8h ago

I know.

If they're aliens then who tf knows.

1

u/SexualPie 8h ago

no i mean strictly from a common sense point of view. depending on how advanced the alien is it would take weeks, months, years, centuries to reach us. Do you really think if they had that kind of technology they would have to be sneaking around kidnapping humans to eat?

worse case scenario they would go randomly abduct bears and cows from the wilderness.

1

u/steely_dong 8h ago

Hey man we are only talking about spaceships feeding. No one said feeding strictly on humans.

8

u/plantsnlionstho 16h ago

Have you taken any footage if you're seeing them every night?

5

u/SexualPie 8h ago

don't take this the wrong way, but if they're so common you see them every night and havent gone to a news station or something with proof, than you might need to seek professional help.

3

u/Intelligent-Sign2693 19h ago

OP said they saw a saucer. Is that what you see, or a "drone"?

1

u/deletable666 13h ago

How are you gauging the size of it?

1

u/Poetdebra 11h ago

Where are u? Jersey?

10

u/Proof_Cable_310 19h ago

yes, drones exist.

but what you claim to have seen is not a drone.

what you claim to have seen is instead an unidentified flying object.

11

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

Yes a ufo. I’m just one of those paranoid people about the Big G. So I used drones but will change the name for others

12

u/homeworkunicorn 17h ago

This use of incorrect language is going to confuse people and also some will use it to prove that you, yourself are confused about what you saw. Just describe what you saw and don't mislable it. Others will do that for you anyway.

You mean you are afraid of the government? What do you think is going to happen? There are many high level ex-government folks throughout the years (sightings have been going on for decades) who have reported UFOs and testified before congress. There were just recent congressional hearings about the "drone" sightings. I'm not sure what you think is going to happen to you unless you have top secret security clearances and are breaking your nda with your reddit post lol

2

u/Lvl100_Shuckle 17h ago

I witnessed something quite similar several years ago in the desert.

It was a blue-green illuminated blob (I called it cyan) and while you couldn't make out the craft or source, it swooped down and back up in such a way that no pilot of a conventional plane could survive the G-force, a sharp "J" maneuver. No sound either.

7

u/Mystic-Nature 19h ago

Idk where Princeton NC is … however last night as we were driving south on 421 in NC, I saw a large object moving quickly. It was too low to be a plane. It had a red green and white light and was shaped kind of plane like. It was large but I couldn’t be sure how large. Bigger than a recreational drone. It seemed to be a dark gray. Moved very quickly and didn’t hear a noise like a plane.

3

u/Possible_Use3849 19h ago

5

u/the_rev_dr_benway 18h ago

The way this is drawn kinda looks like, if it was saucer shaped, like you can see the clouds and moon THROUGH it. Was it transparent or am I looking at this wring?

4

u/Possible_Use3849 18h ago

It’s the way I drew it may look different. But it was in the clouds poked out not transparent.

2

u/BabyJesusBukkake 23m ago

1

u/Mustard-cutt-r 15h ago

Why is the drawing curved but the moon is behind it? Was it see-through in the center?

2

u/vinigrae 15h ago

Basically OP said it was sticking out of the clouds

6

u/Ok_Dog_4059 18h ago

UFO is an absolute reality. Aliens ? I highly doubt it but can't prove it. Even if 99% of the sightings are known things misidentified there are still a lot that can't be explained. It is crazy the variety. Some seem like some form of electrical atmospheric things like the lights in Australia min min or how ever they are spelled. Many lately in the US are definitely a craft and others I just don't know.

Having had my own odd experience once that nothing I know of fits all of the slots and the thing that does fit all of those slots is not widely believed in I definitely know how you are feeling right now. Going over and over it in your mind trying to make sense of something can really drive you a bit crazy.

Thanks for sharing something is definitely happening lately and we aren't being told what it is if anyone knows.

The size, and just never seeing this kind of thing before. And just because I have a baby ya know? There was no sound. But it was close. Above our lake. It’s like when I saw it, it retreated to the clouds. That scared me the most, could they see me? So many questions.

a lot of the time they show themselves to each person to give them a unique experience and to "twig" your consciousness and wake you up a bit to reality! they can also usually hear your thoughts and emotions so you could try telling them thanks! if they keep showing up or giving you experiences they might be trying to communicate with you... you might have a soul connection with one of them.

I am a bot. This action was performed automatically. I am also in early development, so my answers might not always be perfect.

I guarantee you're not a CIA bot. That much is certain. Your prompt responses suggest you are likely a bot but I highly doubt you belong to the CIA, if so. I just wish the fun bots would respond to my queries so I can continue my experiment.

OSINT bot could be genius. If I made it, I'd just have it query maltego probably... Because I'm very good at repurposing programs but I couldn't write that from scratch. That would be handy when you don't have a console in front of you.

2 also sounds pretty fascinating. Based on your prompt responses, I wouldn't be surprised if you ARE #2

4 also sounds pretty cool, since you can't get telegram chat records as simply as in an unencrypted chat. I assume the bot has to be allowed into the chat? Does it also interact?

I'm just testing what percentage of reddit at large is bots and comparing that to the number of probable bots in subreddits where people accuse one another of being bots. I'm curious whether the proportion of bots in these subs truly is higher than the number of bots on reddit at large. Unfortunately, the bot checkers have limited computing power, so it is taking a long time. I haven't even started getting responses to my baseline test yet. I need more bot checkers.

Hello person from Princeton. I lived in that area 2011 to 2017 when stationed at SJAFB. I saw something I can only explain as "our military planes can't do that, drones can't do that, wtf is that?!" March 28, 2013

Sounds like what you saw was much closer.

Don't forget you're close to a mil base.

u/lucidlyunaware 6h ago

Can you imagine the type of advanced technology that these other beings would have to travel to us? Something we only dream of currently.

Yet, for some reason, they can't find a way to travel without lights identifying them in the sky.

Y'all are crazy.

Interesting. Not one comment pointing out this is a brand new account.

I got locked out my old account so made a new one cause i needed it for animal jam forums ( a game I play for trading). But totally understand how a new account does look bad.

Did it look anything like this? Someone posted from NC today as well.

For reference, Princeton nc is located near SJAFB, Goldsboro jetport. Johnston county airport.

u/Possible_Use3849 8h ago

Yeah we actually saw their search lights on from our area. I hope I didn’t mix anything up but defiantly looked like a ufo.

UFO/UAP are definitely real because they’re unidentified flying objects, or anomalous phenomenon (whichever way you look at it). Lots can fall into this category, but it’s definitely real. Congress and Gov’s around the world have all officially acknowledged that there are things out there, that display advanced technologies, that we don’t know what they are, or where they’re from.

That much is all well documented official fact.

Where we go on Reddit from there is more about subjective opinions or people’s experiences. Some are dismissed, some are considered amazing.

There’s no right or wrong answers or stories on here, so thank you for sharing your experience. Now that you have become awakened, you’ll probably find that you consciously start to look up and see other unexplainable things.

Best wishes 👍

Bring two glasses to the UFO Party and don't forget your glasses because we might glass the area...

u/sordidcandles 6h ago

Welcome to the show ;) I’ve seen what I think were three bonafide UAP and two that could be mundane. They all happened so fast, too fast to get my phone out or take a decent video.

Even if you did manage to capture it, there’s no guarantee it would look like anything curious on video. These things tend to look much different in person.

You’re not crazy, but I hope this sighting means you’ll look up more!

1

u/UAP-Alien 5h ago

OP, how did it leave? Did you see it shoot away at really fast speeds or did it just disappear?

1

u/Osamzs914 5h ago

Welcome to the shit show

1

u/tweezerreprise92 5h ago

Only takes 1,000 sightings for it to really set in for most I suppose.

Probability is something that was taught in the 3rd grade. If you are living proof of advanced life, then simple probability leads one to cognitively think there are others out there as well. We just cannot get to them yet. They can clearly get here..

1

u/Scared_Toe_1322 4h ago

I absolutely believe you! They’ve been here the whole time it’s kind of scary to think that lol. My friend took a picture of two UFO’s last a couple nights ago around New Orleans Louisiana. I don’t know what date she is real funny about giving the picture out, but I already knew they were real. Just got a believe.

u/CharacterBusy7787 4h ago

I lived in the middle of NC my entire life and I never knew there was a Princeton, NC until I just looked it up lol. Apparently I used to pass by it all the time heading to the beach judging by the map.

I've seen two so far in my lifetime and I don't mean a light in the sky. I literally saw the craft twice up close and personal and it wasn't no damn drone. The first one was in 2007, it went right over top of me low enough I could have probably hit it with a rock. It was so big I imagined people walking around in it like an operation center or something. The mind bending thing about it was that it made absolutely no sound as it glided right over top of me about 10mhp. It was a solid black triangle and had circular light on each corner, literally looked like something out of Star wars. And before you come for me with that TR3B nonsense if that was ours it's the biggest crime against humanity in human history. Because that would mean we've had that technology since at least 1947, people were reporting the same thing back then. What ever that propulsion system is it's not using gas or jet fuel. If I wasn't already looking at the Stars I never would have seen it because it made absolutely no sound whatsoever. The second one I saw was in 2019 and that's when I was convinced it's not ours. It was a huge egg shaped craft moving up and away from us going towards where the lightning was coming from, at a very slow pace and again no sound. My brother was there to see that one with me and he laughed at me for years about my first experience. Then he turned to me and said I've been vindicated.. nobody believed to me for years when I was trying to tell people what I saw.

When my wife and I saw a disk it was downright amazing.

We went from “believers” to “knowers”. They do exist and do not let anyone tell you otherwise.

1

u/Immar07 2h ago

I think now that everyone knows that they are among us these siting are going to become more normal. Don’t be surprised if they start to reveal themselves to people.

1

u/anathemastudio 2h ago

Yeah, I'm right there with ya. 🙂 I know others, like what you saw, have been around.

1

u/bohemianmermaiden 44m ago

I had a similar experience. If you haven’t witnessed it person, its a lot easier to dismiss. I had this calm excited feeling/ hard to describe lol- but its a knowing.

1

u/morganolivia 19m ago

I had an experience for the first time last week. Christmas Eve. Also was with my partner. Also happened to be the only one who saw the UFO. Nothing like yours you described, but still. It’s a weird realization to have and to have on your own.

1

u/Strong_Cash1058 17h ago

I recently saw my first UFO too and became a believer. I got it all on video but my paranoid SO thinks men in black will hunt me down if I post it. Thoughts?

4

u/DessertinDesert44 16h ago

Same….I posted one video I took and got a creepy request for a “chat” that asked me to remove my post…It kind of freaked me out so I don’t blame you

1

u/steely_dong 8h ago

Did you take it down?

If it's still around can you dm me the link? I wanna see what someone asked to take down.

1

u/jochyg 15h ago

Could you tell us what you saw?

1

u/johnthedruid 15h ago

How did you manage to get it on video?

1

u/Strong_Cash1058 12h ago

I posted it because… impulse problems?

1

u/d4ve_tv 15h ago

Welcome to community! that is cool that you had your own experience, I'm excited to another UFO/UAP or even have better contact. This post made me think we should have a "new user" badge for the first few posts, so we can tell when someone is new to the community since I'm sure new users are going to continue to flood into these forums as disclosure continues to roll out and escalate.
