“Observed from this location for 5 minutes, during which the light source remained almost entirely stationary."

A formation of potential "drones" was seen hovering stationary near the U.S. Capitol Building. The "drones" alternated colors and were noticeably brighter than the other aircraft visible in the sky during the video.

No. These aren't UAP they are UFOs. Nothing anomalous about their behaviour.

Also this video doesn't even show evidence that they are stationary (as the cameraman keeps proclaiming) -- they could be moving towards the camera from a distance with a headlight pointing in their direction.

Did they get out flight tracker and verify that there were no aircraft in the direction they were pointing their camera (miles away for example)?

They might be stationary. They might be drones. They might also be ordinary aircraft. This is just another inconclusive data point

Keep in mind DC is one huge massive no-fly zone (even for military unless a damn good reason). I worked in DC for a decade and can only remember seeing a plane once or twice in the city.

LOL, that's not in Washington D.C. smart guy. It's in Crystal City, VA. It's 5 miles away from D.C.

The footage was captured from the top of the Union Station parking garage, which is opposite the capitol building from the airport. At night, distant planes with their lights on can look like they are standing still. One of the lights looked like it may have been a military helicopter, which is not uncommon around the capitol, considering Marine One is the preferred mode of transport over motorcade for the president.

Thank you for figuring out where they were filming from. I wanted to believe, but you’re right. Those are planes lined up to land at National or possibly helos. (I’m a DC native and lived on the Hill for many years).

Every light in the sky is a #drone

The no fly zone for drones is 10 mile radius which extends past crystal city. This is only for for us peons though. Commercial flights to national get waivers and obviously military.

5 miles? The airport literally abuts DC. The airport is waterfront on the Potomac and the river is part of DC, not VA.

Yeah they are full of shit. Those are helicopters, they fly 24/7 and the airspace is loaded with commercial and military craft. Only over certain sensitive sites is there a no fly zone and its only a flight ceiling, so you can still sly over at altitude, just not below a certain threshold. Not sure what it is now but when I was stationed out there I believe it was 1,200 feet limit over the whitehouse and dod.

You’ll grow a third arm before these people accept the obvious truth that these are planes and helicopters

Now the White House is a no fly zone to 18k ft. It’s class A above that but towers keep everyone away. Above 60,000 ft I think you’re good to go. So hold onto a weather balloon or get a b2 or something.

surely a U2 would be better than the B2 at high altitude yea?
