Effective immediately, any posts intended solely to shit on someone else's vehicle will be removed.
Incredibly, incredibly tired of these low effort posts. No, I don't care that it makes you feel superior to others. No, I don't care about the 37 jokes about the size of the driver's genetalia.
The internet is already a giant cesspool of negativity. Don't add to it.

Photo Today was a good day... New truck, F350 limited H.O. Diesel
galleryMy first diesel truck, flew into Washington ST last night, picked this up today. Driving 1100 miles home on a solo road trip.
It's a 2023 had 14k miles on it. 100k warranty and every feature I wanted.
So far I'm impressed is been averaging 23mpg on the highway and it's just a very pleasant and stable vehicle. Big upgrade from my 2015 F150

Leveling Kit install
Maybe be a stupid question but I was never super into cars/trucks but I just bought my first own vehicle and I wanted to install a leveling kit. I was wondering how hard it would be to install myself and maybe some recommendations on the brand of kit I should buy. I don’t mind doing it myself I also am not even sure how much it would be to pay a shop.

New Truck Help/Recommendations
galleryI just bought my late grandpas truck from my grandma, and I want tips on fixing it up/ aftermarket stuff to optimize and make it more mine? Any problems that anyone can see? It runs great, I just need to replace some suspension parts, which my friend that has a shop is going to help me with. Any suggestions for tires/wheels, or aftermarket lights, or grills? Really any suggestions to make it look or perform better? I think it looks good already, but I want it to look its best. It's a '91 C/K 2500 extended cab and bed.
Please help. Anyone recognize what truck this is by just seeing the undercarriage?
Saw this photo on the news but can’t get any more info. It’s a truck that was in a serious accident and I’m trying to see if it’s someone who I know and can’t seem to get in touch with. Anybody recognize what truck this is to see if it’s the same truck as the person I can’t reach.

Discussion / question 2005 Dodge Dakota (Gifted)
galleryHi Everyone,
I was given a 2005 Dodge Dakota from my In Laws. Last thing I’ve been told about this car is that the engine seized but also that it would crank sometimes but just wouldn’t go (conflicting things). My first thing is gonna be buying a battery for it but what should be the next thing I should check out if it cranks? It’s been sitting for 4 years.

Discussion / question Stalling in gear weird speedometer and more
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just want to say thank you in advance for any help. So I’m having quite the issue with my 1995 f150, 5.8L, 4x4 with e40d automatic. I appologize in advance this will be long. On a normal day (3ish weeks ago) about to leave work I started the truck as normal put it in drive let off the brake and it stalled. Kept doing that until I had to let off the brake and gas it at the same time to keep it going. (Will attach video of stalling /stalling and gassing it). Does this in every gear. Same day after that incident still on the way home speedometer starting jumping back and forth like crazy. Rpm gauge has not worked for months due to personal doing, so unsure if anything was happening there.
I tried two different shops. First a specialty transmission shop. They were adamant on it being nothing transmission related (they only tried to sell a tranny fluid change) they did find that the distributor cap was melted at the connection point and the rotor had about a quarter inch of carbon build up at that point as-well so they replaced the cap and rotor. Decided to leave there and take it for diagnostics at a different run of the mill auto shop. Upon driving it from one to the other stopped for gas went to start it. Battery was dead. Jumped it got it to the next place. Tried to show them the issues constant dead battery and jumping it (it was an old battery) so after they had it for a little while they wanted to replace the battery and replace the throttle body intake hose (had a small hole) after that there only “ideas” where idle air control valve and egr.
So I lumped it home. Replaced the battery, idle air control valve and the hose, no change. After attempting my own research so far I have also replaced the ignition module. Currently working on plugs and wires after hooking up the obd1 code reader before it could throw any codes where it was supposed to say ‘cyl 8’ it said ‘cyl6’ tried researching why that has happened because if there was a cylinder issue I assume it would’ve thrown a specific code for that ,could be wrong but haven’t been able to find an answer on that, so far only have 1 plug and wire done (15° weather) also checked the 2 fuses in the dash that have to do with speedometer they were good so that’s where I am and could really use some help. Will attach any other relevant photos or videos
Discussion / question Will trucks ever become awesome again?
I bought my first truck recently, a 2017 F-150 SCSB with the 5.0 and the 6 speed. 4x4. It has NOTHING. Manual windows, manual locks, I consider the A/C system to be the most luxurious aspect of the vehicle. I love it to death.
Is that era totally over and have I scored the last of its kind? Will we ever see boxy, simple, spacious trucks again? The free market is supposed to dictate what gets produced but between government regulations and what people are buying, it seems like every new truck is just amber running lights, plastic everything, complicated and expensive tech...
I feel a little bit hopeless about what the future holds for pickups, but I also think that if they made a real pickup for the pickup crowd, like literally brought back bricknoses and square bodies with nothing more than a modern power train (not too modern; a naturally aspirated V8 will do just fine) and modern suspension, they'd be knockouts with trades companies, simple people like myself, broke blue collar guys... How do we get them to put 4 wheel drive under metal boxes again without ipads for climate controls?
