Ok, some of this is straight up Captain Obvious quotes but anyway...
Anyone who thinks it is "interesting to see" racism "coming out of the woodwork" from the right needs to rethink the bubble they live in. Perhaps also consider the totality instead of just how things affect themselves for a change? One-issue vote against "meritocracy" has condemned millions of people in the same racial demo- brown people of origins outside the nativist anglo dome- to a world of hurt and probably are endangering themselves to boot.
Pardon me, did she not see how they all treated Vance’s INDIAN WIFE. He had to basically beg them all to stop in an interview. And yet this lady is somehow special and they are all going to respect her? GTFOH
A lot of minorities think because the white people they interact with aren’t overtly racist towards them that any minority complaining about racism or negative racial experiences is lying or just one of the bad ones.
They also filter out the racism coming from Trump and his supporters as just a few bad apples or out of context in order to contort their personal experiences into a reality they want to believe in
1) Non-black minorities being self-selected immigrants who came here freely of their own accord. As opposed to African-Americans, we were kidnapped/human trafficked here against our will and involuntarily held here for centuries upon pain of death or mutilation if we tried to escape. A self-selected immigrant who came here of their own free will have a different experience with white racists and white supremacists than African-Americans. It's like Ariel Castro's 3 victims' experiences with him vs people who came to his house on their own and could leave whenever they wanted. Castro doesn't seem like quite as bad or dangerous of a guy from the perspectives of his visitors compared to the perspectives of those 3 girls. From the perspective of non-black immigrants they probably think African-Americans are just exaggerating or failing to do like they do and just ignore it. People who immigrate here on their own are more likely to feel towards black people like "Just ignore the racist ones like I do, forehead. Lol Duh! It can't hurt you if you do that."
2) The Model Minority Myth. A lot of immigrants who come to the US are basically the pro-America equivalent of weeaboos/otakus. They're enamored by the US and very desperately want to fit it and be accepted. Many think if they just make all the right choices they'll be spared the racism and be accepted as an equal, an "honorary white person", or at least a "model minority" who is looked at like a beloved pet or harmless lesser. Like many non-Japanese/non-Asian weeaboos would love to move to Japan and become viewed as an "honorary Japanese" person over there. Many would look at victims of racism in the US as people who didn’t do what they needed to do to become accepted and view them as kinda deserving their sorry lot in life.
