Ok, some of this is straight up Captain Obvious quotes but anyway...
Anyone who thinks it is "interesting to see" racism "coming out of the woodwork" from the right needs to rethink the bubble they live in. Perhaps also consider the totality instead of just how things affect themselves for a change? One-issue vote against "meritocracy" has condemned millions of people in the same racial demo- brown people of origins outside the nativist anglo dome- to a world of hurt and probably are endangering themselves to boot.
Oh she knew, but she was more than happy to laugh it off when she thought her oppressors would respect her for bending over and taking it quietly. Once she finds herself stuck on the side of the fence with the rest of us she'll...double down to try and win some small victory instead of learning from her mistake and growing as a person.
