Any chance you simply don’t want someone on your property without a good reason? Many Amazon drivers are down on luck in life. Your nice gesture may be a huge lifeline and although annoying at times, does more for Dave than you can imagine. Regardless, you don’t owe anyone anything, their jobs pay them for a reason... NOR

The op? Or the worker who needs food?

That’s essentially trespassing and you have reason to be upset.

That is a super nice thing you're doing! A well deserved extra tip for the delivery guys.

I get that you're annoyed he's coming back without deliveries. That's not what this is for. You're not a food bank. He's not welcome and thus is trespassing.

I don't know what the best course of action is. Try to catch him again next time, only give him something extra. 'Because he needs it'. He'll either appreciate it a lot (because he does need it), or be embarrassed by it (because he doesn't)...

It'll open up the conversation and maybe you can help (if he needs it) by finding other means for him, or it'll deter him (killing with kindness and compassion)

Maybe he is hungry. So he can have food only on the days he delivers? I don’t like this man. You are kind of weird. Either put the food out so people could eat it. Or don’t. Wouldn’t you want someone who needs food to eat it? But seriously if you really need this to stop, just stop putting food out. Because there is no way to explain to him he could only have food on his work days. You would sound like an absolute jerk.
