HF Gordon Multi
I just purchased a Gordon Multitool from Harbor Freight yesterday, and am feeling some buyers remorse. Im usually a Leatherman guy, but got it because Ive heard good things. Its okay, I really like the smaller size because I usually EDC a Surge for work. But I think I should take it back, or sell it off to someone else and just get a Wave if I want a Multi in that size and platform. Any advice?
Side note, one thing that is burning me about the Gordon is the ruler is in tenths of an inch. How many machinists are using this tool?? That might be the dealbreaker for me.

Recommendation Request Leatherman Arc or Roxon Phantom?
I'm looking for a new multi took I have an old Leatherman Crunch I've used off and on and I've always been disappointed by the scissors on other multitools being cheep weak. For background I'm in the military and would need one for everyday work/ outdoor work. I'm also very crafty and regularly book bind and can sometimes use it for that as well.

Recommendation Request Best pliars focused multi tool for $50 or under?
I obviously know that the toolset focus needs will be different from person to person but there are really only a small handful of tools I would absolutely need in one. I am just trying to find one of great quality that can handle moderate to somewhat heavy EDC use when necessary.
Tools needed to be included: - Pliars (need to be high quality), perhaps with replaceable wire cutters - Saw that is good enough to get firewood in an emergency at least (hopefully, a good spine to strike a Ferro rod) - A blade with decent edge retention - Bonus if possible: a good file and scissors, screwdriver bit usability (less useful to me than the other two)
No other tools outside of this would be dealbreakers to me. I would like 5Cr, 7Cr, or better at least for the tools as I don't want to just snap or wear them out from moderate use.
Is there even a good tool in this price range with a good warranty/customer support?

Wave, dutch police
galleryJust picked up this wave, special about this wave is the hook on the serrated blade (normally only with the charge) and the awl instead of the can opener. Including the original sheath.

Fun Discussion: Ultimate Christmas Day Present Opening Multitool
On Christmas I found myself wanting for more than just my pocket knife for all of the presents. All the tape, zip ties, cardboard, twist ties, toy assembly etc.. So, in preparation for next year…
What should I slip into my Christmas day pants pocket?

Is it possible to attach the Roxon Flex Companion to a keyring (i.e to use the tool as a keychain).
I've used larger Victorinox knives (that have key rings) as keychains, so the size isn't an issue.

350euro Leatherman Arc no loctite almost loose the screw
Hey guys I made this post just to warn futur Arc buyer to Check if all screw is good I almost loose one in less than 24h
unacceptable for premium tool …
I also made the same post on Leatherman reddit page and all of the FANBOIS almost told me its my fault :) they don’t like when people saw the MISERABLE quality control of Leatherman in 2025 …
I like the tool it’s solid feel Nice to have access everything in one hand Nice blade etc
But no loctite is PURE SHAME
And iv’e used tons of multitools in my EOD career like gerber or sog and not a single one broke or came with no loctite in fraction of the Arc price

Recommendation Request Looking for a slim multitool with a non-locking knife, IWB
Hi all
Looking for recommendation for a multitool that will fit nicely IWB, so it has to be slim and compact. The knife must be non-locking for legal reasons.
Should have the basics, I don't need anything specific to be honest.
Thanks

Recommendation Request Help me pick a new multitool for my birthday
I currently carry a Gerber dime. I rarely use my multitool but am glad I have it on my when I do. I'd like something with the following: Pocket clip Pliers Scissors Flat and Philip's screw drivers Serrated knife and/or saw I've been looking at the leatherman wingman, curl and knife less rebar, Gerber suspension nxt and ronox m2. Any input and recommendations is appreciated.

Recommendation Request Which Roxon would be best for me?
I know of the Roxon KS2E which seems to be an excellent value for $40 having D2, the Roxon Flex, and Roxon Flex Companion which has D2 as well. If I got the regular Flex I would have to pick up a D2 blade at some point.
I want a multitool that I can keep in my car for if I ever need to use as my car breaks down. I live in a highly rural, forested area of the US. The goal is for the tool to be able to either assist temporarily fixing the problem to finish getting home OR to be able to make it so I can survive on the side of the road until I can get help. I will have a emergency medical kit, spare tire, tire iron, a tarp, a blanket, and some fire starting rods potentially in the car for such a situation. The multitool might occasionally swap out with my current EDC (Victorinox Swiss Ranger). Realistically, I might need pliars in case I need to remove a battery post cable or a multitool that I can rig up to use a socket kit I can keep in my car. I think there is a way to rig up the KS2E to be able to use a socket using the included bit adapter, a socket adapter in that, and then the socket but don't know if that is strong enough for a terminal nut or not.
With that in mind, I also know that the Flex companion will be getting an optional set of smaller pliars that can be swapped in and should be more than enough for something that small. Both flex tools allow you to swap out tools which also means you can take them out to use multiple tools at once if truly necessary.
Are these three options good ones for this? Are there better? Should I avoid Roxon? I don't need perfect tools but rather good enough tools to handle helping me make it through a really cold winter night (northern US) in the worst case scenario which I suppose I could do with just any EDC knife and something to ignite some wood curls. I am a bit overwhelmed with options and figuring out what is worth paying extra for and what isn't. I will admit that I am getting a multitool for this purpose but also because I like collecting things like knives and find these interesting as well.

Daicamping DL30 on AliExpress $12-15 depending on color.
I was looking at another Bibury and decided to check out Daicamping since I’ve often heard they’re really similar. Realized they’re on sale for $12-15. I’m not sure if they normally are but figured if they aren’t others would like to know.
I don’t have any experience with Daicamping but my Bibury is nice. I wanted to get one to try modding, so we will see how that goes.

Question/Advice Roxon flex/phantom hybrid
Hi folks i have been looking at the roxon line of tools and really like the idea of modular multitools. If anybody has both the flex and phantom from roxon does it look like they both have the same plier head? I am considering buying both and swapping one of the handles from the flex onto the phantom so it can have both the larger shears and modular blade as well as the smaller modular implements. If anyone has any insight on this please let me know, thanks!

Buy a frickin pry bar!
This tool came into the shop for repair this week. It's a Gerber MP600. Every tool that could possibly be used as a pry bar is broken.
