Why, just why ?
There are already so Youtube bots. The youtube-description bot is actually useful and you can opt out
This is just spamming
Why do people feel the need to exactly copy bots, remove the opt-out function and let them run ?

Do we really need this bot?
I posted a link and had THREE bots respond to it with the same information. If you're going to run your stupid bot at least make it check if another bot has responded already.

Feature suggestion
Could you add like/dislike information for the videos?

So about the wiki
This bot replies to very short reddit comments that link to YouTube videos, with information like the name of the video, duration, view count and publication date, plus the first line of the video description (provided it doesn't contain links which could cause problems). It's inspired by the similar Wikipedia bot which I find very helpful on mobile, where following a link would take me out of the page or app.
Bare YouTube links have little to indicate what the destination might be, the only identifier is a series of digits like dQw4w9WgXcQ.
The bot is intended to help readers decide if they want to click the link (which may take them out of the page/app and involve a loading delay), or even to encourage them to do so.
Also, sometimes the description contains interesting or fun information which may add to the conversation.

We've all been rick rolled and didn't realize it.
Also, the bot is not responding to my comments.

Fixed: a problem with stop requests not getting registered for some users
There were two problems, one: a change in the format for comment IDs that caused an error writing into the database, two: incorrect case handling leading to some users with capital letters in their user name not getting written into the database correctly.
Please accept my apologies.

If you're going to have a "to not receive replies from this bot" option, please make it work
I've tried to opt out of this bot a number of times and it doesn't work. Fuck this shit.

Issue with markdown
example: http://i.imgur.com/k8uqLnx.png
The bot takes this little symbol to start code ` .
idea would be to add a ' in front of every ` so it shows up as it is.

Here's some constructive criticism...
Judging from the comments more than a few hate reddit bots, I know I do. But I also detest blind link comments. I guess in certain subs at certain times it's fine and dandy and may even be preferred because it's supposed to be a surprise.
Anyway, if you must bot, keep the bot's reply to one line. As it is, I'm looking at 5 lines and nested quotes, it looks ugly. It's really tl;dr. Output should not only deliver what it's supposed to with compact efficient code, the output's design is important too. User experience matters.

You do realize she ruins jokes, right?
Just now I linked the "What's wrong with your face?!?!?!?!?!" thing from Mr. Plinkett, and the damn bot had to come and ruin the joke for everyone else.
