Jensen is 63 y/o. He won’t be alive when Quantum finally turns a profit. :4267::4271:

Jensen is looking for Quantum Engineer:4271:

Quantum means no h1-b needed. Now you stay in India but work in USA, both shifts, same time.
11
u/ayberkush 10h ago
Thats why hes trying to undermine :) Or maybe he wants to buy some himself with the money he earned by shorting quantum stocks before his speech. That soab….

D-Wave annual profit is less that Jensen’s leather jacket’s retail price 😂
14
u/RonMexico16 7h ago
D-Wave’s annual profit is negative $20 million.
16
u/AdmiralAckbarVT 3h ago
Point stands. It’s less than my leather jacket retail price and I don’t own one.

Huang wipes out half this guys salary in like 3 sentences. I’d be challenging him to a bike race as well!

Didn't Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson?
48
u/Specialist_Jump5476 11h ago
A retired for the past 20 years Mike Tyson yeah.
1
u/Hire_Ryan_Today 1h ago
And beat is a strong word. A 27 year old boy “beat” (gingerly, sparred) a 58 year old man.
24
u/dragonilly 10h ago
Yes a 20 something Jake Paul beat a retired for decades 60 year old Mike Tyson.

Yeah, or you can say Mike wasn't even throwing punches. He stunned him early and then barely punched after that.

Not sure why we couldn't just link to the CNBC YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qDJOIpWKk4

Jensen would beat this guys a**

I’m stoked! Is this the Main Event? Or Undercard for Zuck vs Musk MMA match? Or even just a tag/team Lucha libre/WWF would be exciting

That dude looks like he used to work for the CIA and knows all about the secret alien quantum computers because he was the one who used to disappear people, its probably why hes the CEO part of a government op to introduce it to the world.

i assumed this was some boomer clown but he has a doctorate in CS from MIT and was at Sun/java? https://www.dwavesys.com/company/leadership/
still not buying this shit but its something

DWave is in fact full of very smart people pushing forward a cutting edge of quantum computing. Doesn't make Jensen any less right.
16
u/Fancy-Jackfruit8578 9h ago
A bunch of smart people working on something doesn't make it work.
2
u/nerd_rage_is_upon_us 5h ago
A bunch of smart people were working on geocentric models of the universe before the 18th century. Didn't make them right.

"D-Wave’s revenue is still minimal. Sales in the latest quarter fell 27% to $1.9 million from $2.6 million a year earlier."
So jensen is right.
2
u/DoubleFamous5751 54m ago
Their revenues are a rounding error compared to Nvidia’s. This shit is laughable
-22
u/ayberkush 10h ago
to your simple a$$ brain, yes
19
u/Mean-Flamingo4706 9h ago
And how does your immensely complex mind determine the value of quantum computing in the near future?
12
13
u/Substantial_Meat_222 9h ago
negative eps. negative cash flow, and probably will dilute your ass to raise capital. So yeah, I agree with jensen that it's early. If anything, you should be happy because clearly you're a fan and you can buy more.

Stop hyping quantum stocks, it’s a trap for pump and dump.

getting lucky on a penny stock doesn't magically mean that quantum computing is anywhere near profitable or useful

Why so complicated? Just have a product with good applications. No other proof necessary.

u/xEbolavirus 10h ago
He also said on CNBC, when asked about the negative revenue in the 3rd quarter, how he can’t wait to release their numbers at their next release. I bought calls.

This company has been around along time and haven't delivered shit as far as a commercially viable product. This punk bitch aint got shit on Jensen, he's just annoyed that he cant sell more shares to baggies to keep this dead end firm afloat another 10 years.

D-WAVE uses quantum annealing process, according to the article. Quantum annealing can only minimize or maximize a solution. So it can find the best delivery route almost instantly by checking all the possible route possibilities at once. That is all annealing can do at the moment. So it is only applicable to problems where you need a minimum or a maximum. Pretty limited, but Amazon, FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, and maybe even driver services like Waymo, UBER, and others can benefit at the moment. I think for a robot on a delivery floor, it would need its own quantum processor, so it couldn't be applied down to an individual unit. This compute power is still years away from being utilized in a sense that is profitable even if you can do it now.
Even if full-gate quantum was available now, it would still take years to figure out where its application is more efficient and cost-effective versus traditional processors.
Keep an eye on QTUM etf over the next year and do your best to spot a bottom. Buy 100 shares and forget you own it for the next ten years.

If I was the CEO of the world's hottest chip company, I would certainly downplay any advancement that I wasn't already involved in. The fact is, Jensen said what he said because Nvidia has no quantum play currently but Google does. What did everyone expect him to do, gush over the Willow chip?

D-wave has an actual product(s) and has sold it to customers.

You’re still poor.

Both comments true. I sold DWAVE at 40%+ profit but could have been much more. I bought regretti and dwave options so more bags might be in comimg.

I bought 5k in quantum puts on Monday. Luckiest timing of my life. Sadly I bought 101 DTE so only made 3.5k, but thanks for your contribution to my gains

I'm sorry but no. Hes going on about Mastercard, and its a strategic alliance. Theres nothing "commercial" about this. Its all proof of concept work. Absolute bollocks.

And yet, NVIDIA is looking for Quantum Engineer. :4271:
1
u/cosmicchopsuey 10h ago
That's just for integration purpose, they need classical compute for error correction. So Jensen is basically extending an olive branch.
1
u/Top-Chip-1532 9h ago
Do you even know the difference between Classical Computing and Quantum Computing?
5
u/Upset_Albatross_9179 10h ago
This is not super uncommon in the "Quantum" business. Companies will buy a product or collaborate to solve a problem because it's an emerging technology rather than because it's actually a good product compared to state-of-the-art. Their use case examples are all one-offs. It looks like their revenue is <$10M per year?
They by far are the most mature quantum computing company. Their units actually do something. But to my knowledge they've never demonstrated their units have a quantum advantage over comparably priced classical computing resources.
1
u/newfor_2025 4h ago edited 4h ago
as far as I can tell from their website, they're leasing time for other people to remotely log in to use their quantum "computer" to conduct experiments with. The computer does nothing useful at the moment, it's got a wide range of potential use cases in the future but at the moment, it's not even stable enough to hold a quantum state for more than a few microseconds. What kind of product is this??
they also offer a bunch of software development tools that would mimic and model what a quantum computer can do, but they're just models running on classical computers, not on the real quantum computers at all. Calling that a quantum computers solution has to be a bad joke.

u/justbrowse2018 3h ago
Half the computers and smart phones of the world do nothing useful besides to help jerkin the gurkin or doom scroll you personal so flavor of doom. Half the businesses in the world do nothing useful either lol.

TLDR
Ticker: D-WAVE (not provided but inferred)
Direction: Likely Up (due to CEO's confident response and challenge)
Prognosis: Buy the Dip (if applicable)
Additional Notes: D-Wave CEO is calling out Jensen Huang for his comments on quantum computing. A public challenge issued. Prepare for memes.
