Pin!

Today I learned that the 91 mm (3.5") models come with a pin hole, even if it's not an advertised tool! On my Explorer it's under the corkscrew, and a regular straight pin borrowed from my S.O. fits into the hole perfectly. I'm leaving it so the head is about 1/8" out from the plastic. That makes it easy to get out and still clear the screw part of the corkscrew.

Here are some examples: removing splinters, SIM cards; resetting electronics; once I used it to pop a blister (doused with alcohol and then lit with a lighter to sterilize, before and after). Good for replacing a shirt button that pops off when eating excessively; balloon popper; for leaving messages to S.O./children/SWMBO on corkboard or other soft surfaces when no thumbtacks are available (or hidden from you). And anything that a small, thin, pokey thing might be needed for.

I have one in my compact. No ideas what to use it for. What does one use it for?

I did the mod to add a second pin because two is one and one is none 😁
