Why can Sith choose between 8 styles, and Jedi choose between 4? Question

You have to unlock the alternate combat styles by maxing alignment, you have light side styles because you've had a character reach Light Side V, you need a character to reach Dark Side V to use Sith combat styles on a non-Sith.
I think you can also purchase the alignment unlock in your Legacy somewhere for a couple hundred thousand credits, but I'm not certain.

You haven't hit Dark 5 to chose Sith styles on Jedi from character creation.
You hit Light 5 to use Jedi styles on Sith from creation.

There’s no need to create sith or jedi. OP needs just to hit V rank of the dark side on other character and unlock perk in the legacy.

I meant so OP could play a Sith class on a Jedi from the point of creation and what OP already did to play Jedi styles on a Sith from the same point.
Didn't say there was a need to create, i was explaining how it works.

Because it takes Light V for Sith to become a Jedi and it takes Dark V for a Jedi to become a Sith.
Long story short, NG+ feature.

Because you haven't reached Dark V on any character's alignment yet.
Getting your alignment at full Light Side allows Jedi styles on Sith origins.
Getting your alignment at full Dark Side allows Sith styles on Jedi origins.

Because you reached Light Side 5 already, but not Dark Side 5.
