Seriously, the person that posted the other video had some artifacting going on. I don’t think Swtor is to blame.

I almost quit this game years ago, but I found a great Guild and I've never looked back. Does anyone have a similar situation? Discussion is encouraged, keep it civil.

I just need to vent this because the pain is so raw right now. I'm a returning player, I played a bunch at launch many years ago. Enjoyed my time with it, played with a few friends. Got through a bunch of the Sith Inquisitor and Imperial Agent class stories, and overall really had a good time. Came back a few years later and subscribed for a few months to play with a friend when all the cartel market stuff was going on.

I came back solo a few days ago just to enjoy some of the class stories because I remember really enjoying the story. Made a new character, have been having a grand ol' time on my new Jedi Knight.

So through my subscription time, I've amassed a decent amount of cartel coins. I just hit 13k when I resubbed this time. I hadn't used much if any. After coming back and enjoying myself, I figured I'd use some to make my experience better. Saw all these juicy perks to unlock. Faster speeder, reduce cooldowns, jet boots, etc etc.

I figured why not? I was on my old level 44 Sith Inquisitor, looking at the legacy stuff, and figured I'd buy a bunch of those perks. I got everything that sounded useful. Went from 13k to 6k cartel coins, but whatever, digital currency is fake money and I'm just back to chill out and have fun. Having all these perk unlocks on my account would make playing the game more fun.

I was blind.

I did not read.

It was written clear as day for those who have impulse control. "CHARACTER Perks." It's written on the tab. Perks. For your Character. The character you are currently playing. The perks designed specifically to assist the Character you currently are.

So now I have 6k cartel coins worth of upgrades on a Level 44 Sith Inquisitor that is like 14 years old. I remember exactly 0% of her story, where she's been, what she's seen. I googled "Can I replay the class story?" No, no you can't. "Can I refund cartel purchases made in error?" Nope.

I get it. I have no one to blame but myself. But I just spent like 6,000 cartel coins on a character in the middle of nowhere on Belsavis and I have no idea what she's doing there. I don't know what's happening in her story. I barely remember her companions.

I'm very tempted to just keep playing the character and ignore whatever other decisions I made in her story before and treat her as if she just woke up from some kind of cryo-stasis confused, angry, and frustrated.

Okay now that is out of the way.

So i have been playing a long time. Never close to being 'awesome' but for sure not a noob. Like for as long as I can remember I usually did 2-3million damage in a given 8v8 (unless I was playing a slinger) and was probably a 55/45 coin flip to win a 1v1 on a given map.

Seemingly after 7.0 everyone's DPS numbers went off the charts. 5million seems to be the average in 8v8 and unless I am playing a Tank, my survivability is nearly nil. Again- I pulling 2-3 milling on average.

Most of the time now, I play an Assassin and just simply guard. However I can't believe how fast my lifebar goes down, even in 1v1. I'd say I lose about 60% of my lifebar after my opening rotation. I can stall , but for sure if someone doesnt come and help I am going down. If they send 2.. it's over before it starts.

I look at the stats at the end of the match, and sure other Peoples DPS total numbers are bigger, but I was expecting to see serious disparity in my 'biggest' hit numbers or something. Many times, I have the biggest hit or in some cases within reach of it.

My Gear is 340 blue (from Hyde and Zeek) and I have purple Augments. along with Vulkks recommended Legendary implants for whatever class i happen to be playing. I have the 336 pvp relics as well.

With the exception of when there are the level locked 75 players using tacticals, lowbie and midbie Pvp 'feels' like Pre 7.0 Pvp. Again I am not awesome, but I can kill people regularly, my survivability is where i expect it, and am probably a 60/40 coin flip on a 1v1.

Once I get to Level 80... boom.. i get smashed. It honestly feels like when you play lowbies but don't have items in all your slots so you are just squishy. Once all your slots a filled, you are good again. My DPS number again 2-3mil, I never get to the level of everyone else (cause it feels like I am getting smashed so I fi had more uptime I would be fine).

Is there something I am missing about level 80 pvp? Not sure what I am looking for here. Any 'cursed' Legacy gear I should be aware of?

I'm talking specifically as to who is behind the main plan. I've replayed it recently, and knowing what to look out for, I picked up on a few things, and it feels like if you try to piece together what Zhorrid is asking you to look into with who you find, you should be able to 'guess' as to who is really responsible.

What real signs are there as to who's responsible though? It seems played extremely close to the chest, but I hazard that if you really draw a line between all the cells and their objectives, it'd maybe lead you to guess early.

I would have expected that it would be added. We already have a lot of Cloth/Armor combiantions but nothing as layered as hers.

It does not matter if you're subscribed or F2P or Preferred, all can be active players. If you haven't logged in since 7.6 was released, you are not an active player.

My main goal is to show an up-to-date sense of the overall distribution of players between the NA servers, Satele Shan and Star Forge, but this poll can easily show the broader distribution of players across all servers, so I included them as options as well.

I expect the populations on Star Forge and Darth Malgus to dwarf that of the other 4 servers, but because of the demographics on this subreddit, I think we'll see a smaller gap than actually exists between SS and SF. Many players here don't like interacting with other players and are thus drawn to SS because of its known lower population.

Does the offhand weapon do anything? can you switch weapons or is it just a stat piece? I'm a sniper but I have a knife that doesn't seem to do anything.

I prefer human names for human characters, while for other species, I use the RNG (random name generator).

Of the two Sith Class stories, which do you feel would be more at home working with or alongside Sith/Imperial Intelligence?

If anyone is still stuck with 12/13 codex in Achievement: Space they seem to have finally fixed the broken codex. I couldn't get it before last month's patch and saw that it's been an issue since the mission's release, but now it's popping.

I never actually finished this story and I know that there are at least three different endings for this class. I’m kind of curious if you should choose light or dark and stick with that, or can you flip flop your choices the entire way?

I feel weird choosing the neutral dialogue because I feel like you’re getting a vanilla version of the story…

Has anyone played Imperial Agent multiples times and seen all the outcomes?

Everytime I log in the play button goes right back to green. It's not even loading up, even after I put in the security key. Have the devs commented on this bug yet? Happened the last 2 days.

In all fairness, this might be on me.

I have just bought a couple of species from the cartel market. But in my exitement I might have made a mistake.

After buying the species I thought that they would have been bound to my legacy by default. But when i wanted to make a new character with one of these species i saw it was still locked.
After some research I now realize I have been too hasty.

The issue here is that I made a new character (Imperial Agent), and was a little dissapointed to see the Chiss was locked (I played the game years ago when it was a default species for the Agent). So I bought some CC and unlocked it that way.
So I got excited, deleted my character and got to making a new one so I could play with a Chiss character from the get-go. But I saw the species was still locked.
After a few Google searches I read that i should've redeemed the unlock from my (now deleted) character's inventory. Which is obviously now gone.
However, the transaction is still visible on the swtor website.

Is there a way to gain access to the species still? or have I made a huge blunder and have i just lost both the species and the coins?
