Bought species Question

In all fairness, this might be on me.

I have just bought a couple of species from the cartel market. But in my exitement I might have made a mistake.

After buying the species I thought that they would have been bound to my legacy by default. But when i wanted to make a new character with one of these species i saw it was still locked.
After some research I now realize I have been too hasty.

The issue here is that I made a new character (Imperial Agent), and was a little dissapointed to see the Chiss was locked (I played the game years ago when it was a default species for the Agent). So I bought some CC and unlocked it that way.
So I got excited, deleted my character and got to making a new one so I could play with a Chiss character from the get-go. But I saw the species was still locked.
After a few Google searches I read that i should've redeemed the unlock from my (now deleted) character's inventory. Which is obviously now gone.
However, the transaction is still visible on the swtor website.

Is there a way to gain access to the species still? or have I made a huge blunder and have i just lost both the species and the coins?

Have you tried asking Support if they could restore the character so you can get the unlocks?

I'm not a subscriber, so i can't make a ticket in-game. And calling customer support would be an International call, which is expensive

Try support@swtor.com

This email is a bit hidden, but at least 2 months ago they were replying to it and solved my (different) issue.

I once had a similar Problem but after messaging the Support they were able to unlock it for me because the saw that i had bought it from the cartel market

Do you not have another character? All of your purchases should still be available to claim and redeem on any character.
