is there any reasn to do the kdf version of diplomacy (which is like pirating or similar) or is it like the other things and not worth wasting multiple weeks doing

It depends:-

Do you want the Federation boff?

Do you want to push another doffing category for commendations (particularly one that regularly has doff missions rewarding almost 500 CXP)?

Do you want to regularly receive contraband and other assorted items?

If not, then no - it isn't worth it.

so theres no dialouge options unlike the federation diplomacy?
