Hey all, sort of a weird question here-

I need to prefix this by saying I don't know the woman in question- I have an idea of which apartment building she lives in, but I don't know her personally or even her name. We've never even spoken.

For the past two years I've been living in downtown Richmond, within walking distance of No.3 road. Every morning while I'm waiting for my bus to come pick me, I see the same elderly woman with a walker, walk across NO.3 road without any care or concern for the lights. She'll cross when the cars have a green and just expects that people will stop for her, and everyday I think to myself, "She's gonna get hit by a car."

Well, yesterday morning it finally happened- she decided to walk on the red and a car going North bound didn't see her, and slammed into her walker and basically full speed.

She was unharmed, just shocked it looked like, the driver stopped, and a bus pulled over and about 3-5 people rushed to her aid, got her her walked back and she was on her way.

So, my question here, is there some kind of Adult Protective services I can call, or should I be reaching out to the non-emerg RCMP line? I know the exact intersection and the time and dates so I'm sure they could look up the traffic cams if needed...

She might not be in her full faculties, or she could just not care about her safety but either way there's no need for her to traumatize an innocent driver the next time she decides to take a risk.
