This is the prequel. In a perfect world, after this madness ends with Trump aging and a new breed of political class that looks back and see the serious flaws in our system, and we work to close them together. After all, an extremist of any sort is a clear and present danger to society… eliminating the possibility of that outcome is would be of both parties benefit. 

Otherwise, the next one will be worse.

I'm thinking we'll go through the aftermath of the Spanish civil war. Fake Christians & Conservatives violently retaliating against people who want Democracy & fairness. Purged to the point of nonexistence

It's naive to think the madness will necessarily end with Orange aging. Realistically, there will probably have to be a great deal of society wide pain before there will be a strong widespread desire for change. The dummies who voted for him aren't going to readily acknowledge the error.
