Musk: "Nobody should be able to see the public information about where my private jet is!"

Also Musk: "Here's the names and info of a bunch of government employees that I want fired."

EDIT: Wow, so many comments from people who seem to think being a public employee means you SHOULD be doxxed? Shocker.

I work for a State agency. A different department has a young lady who works in Code enforcement and planning. Her info got out. A local man, started harassing her. First it was just showing at planning board meetings and things of that nature. But once he had more info, he started harassing her in the local grocery store, on the streets etc. So now she's afraid to shop in her hometown or work out of her local office. The dude has been warned by the police to stay away, but it doesn't make her feel much better.

I think we are too tame. Too housebroken. When I was young, brothers, dads, uncles and even friends of women being harassed would find dudes and take them to the woodshed. Woodshed them so hard they didn't even dare to call the cops.

I think Emmett Till put a bit of a damper on menfolk going after someone they perceived to have been harassing a woman.

No. I was not born in 1930, and I can't believe you framed this as a racial crime, that's ridiculous.

I was fairly new in high school and this bully boy who I refused to go out with made me a target. Tried official ways to get him to stop- nope. Finally a boy I had made friends with caught up with him after school and took care of him. I didn't even know it happened until after the fact. I was never harassed again.

Girlfriend was physically assaulted and stalked when we were about 18, police wouldn't/couldn't stop him, It went on for 3 months, and finally her father and uncle took care of the guy. Problem solved.

I know of two other incidents like this that happened to people close to me, one being a girl who had (briefly) married an abuser.

  1. all of these incidents were same race and 2. official channels had been tried, repeatedly.
