My hot take on the headphone jack is that no one actually cares that much about it and the people still beating that drum are contrarians that think everyone wants to listen to music on $500 wired headphones on the go.

Mine's lasted over 4 years at this point. They're great and surprisingly more difficult to lose than you'd think.

The one time I lost mine, they fell out of my pocket in my friend's car and I got them back a month later
