Bars with the "Vibe" of Village Pub? Food | Bars

I am in love with Village Pub in East Nashville. After five years of going there every week, I'm looking to branch out and try to find some new hangout spots. Are there any places in Nash with a similar vibe that come to mind?

Here's what I love about it:

  • Casual, comfortable, friendly atmosphere
  • Minimal TV screens
  • The music is played pretty quietly in the background
  • It's a great place to meet a friend and have a conversation - not so loud that you can’t hear them or focus, not so quiet that you feel the need to whisper to keep from disturbing the peace
  • Bonus points if it has more drink options outside of beer (wine, cocktails, etc.)

Throw your favorite hangout spots below and I'll go try them out. Thanks!

Schulman’s and Roy’s Tavern are pretty similar. Roy’s has quite a few TV’s though. In WeHo Earnest was a good spot, its rebranding so it may have changed but it’s worth checking out if it’s back open

What’s the deal with the staff? Seem no better or worse than staff at any other bar in the city.
