Stock ideas (4 gallons/15L) - conditions in description Discussion
Looking for ideas for this tank, i wanted a betta but after scapping, it decreased the swimmable space and it now has the minimum volume for betta. I was looking for plakat but I saw somehwere saying that specially this type of betta requires a bit larger tanks compared with the longer fins ones ( that i dislike, unfortantly).
Built in filter with sock at the water entrance to decrease flow.
Ph 6-6,2 kh 3-6 Gh 6-10 Tds 250
In this way, is it a shrimp only tank the best option? A bit sad about not putting fish in in tho

Since you already have a lower ph I’d recommend putting CRS make a great colour contrast

Do they really need extra care? Compared with neocaridinas. I have some nitrites but its a question of doing water changes

They are less hardy of a shrimp then neos but still pretty flexible just wanna stay on top of water parameters and 10% water changes

Shrimp, smaller snails, a single pea puffer, too small for a betta sadly

Yeah that was my thought… saw that my lfs had some pea puffers, they look super interesting. Need to check if they are eating dry foods

Pea puffers need to be in groups of at least six in at least a 20 gal sorry :)

Fair enough, and by only having one aquarium, having pea may be risky if need to relocate something 😅

Since you insist on not filling it, it’s only a 3 gallon. Shrimp and snails that’s it.
