It took a dremel cutting wheel, sanding drum, and a cheap diamond file kit.

Modding I made a bit holder for the SOG power pint
galleryWould anyone be interested in buying this if I sold it? Would you prefer aluminum/stainless steel or a nylon/plastic? It holds a 1/4 bit virtually flush to the body by removing 3 tools.
Please leave any feedback or questions!

Modding Help with Leatherman Juice S2 customizing
galleryI found this a few months ago in a pawn shop for a great price so I bought it. I started carrying it right away and realized that the toolset and size is perfect for me. The only problem is the orange anodization really bothers me. I would carry it more if it didn't stick out the way it does.
I'd like to remove the scales and sand the Ano off with some sandpaper. I don't know if it will look good like that, but at this point I think I'll prefer it to the Orange.
Does anyone have any tips they would like to offer on this project? For starters how might I get the scales off this thing. It has capped pins that hold it together and no threaded fasteners that I can see.

Modding Finished the school safe Bond mod
going back to school soon so anything with a blade is off limits, didn’t really use the bond much because i’m a bit driver fanboy and i already carry a wave so i figured id kill two birds with one stone and throw together a backup option for when carrying the wave isn’t on the table.

Modding Leatherman Skeletool Scissor Mod
galleryHello everyone,
Just wanted to share my mod for the leatherman skeletool which replaces the knife with a pair of victorinox 91mm scissors.
Now the reason that I wanted to do this is because I usually carry a fixed blade knife with me and I really hate redundancy of an extra knife, plus I use scissors all the time. I couldn’t find a good multitool that had all the tools I wanted without being redundant.
I wanted a plier based multi tool with the bare minimum following tools: scissors, bit driver, bottle opener and pliers (duh). There was not really a good option so I went with the skeletool cx.
Basically what you need for this mod is a 91mm size victorinox scissor and a tungsten carbide bit (I used a dremel bit). The victorinox scissors replacement parts sold from 3rd party vendors are like $40.99 which is more expensive than a new victorinox climber from Amazon. I took the climber apart and then put it back together for a free small 2 layer victorinox.
Just take the leatherman apart, measure the hole and start drilling out the scissor, making it the same size as the knife. I drilled and took a little more metal out towards the scissor part giving a little more metal material for the liner lock to hit the scissor and somewhat “lock”. Put it back together then the finished product is what looks and feels like an actual finished leatherman multitool with a great pair of scissors.
The liner lock hits at about a 120° angle making it fit perfectly in the hand. The lock locks it at the degree range of 90°-120° which is definitely good enough for my use cases. IMO perfect leatherman skeletool.

Modding Leatherman + Victorinox Mod question (UK mostly)
I basically want to replicate this one since it's exactly what I need. (Topic is archived and can't ask there)
https://www.reddit.com/r/multitools/comments/1d4kqru/leatherman_skeletool_scissor_mod/#lightbox
The Skeletool platform plus the 91mm scissors will make it UK legal as well since no more locking blade?
Since the scissors will be locked on the liner lock. Will these scissors be considered ilegal since they lock? Don't really want to cut the liner lock as well and though maybe to ask before I start the project.
Thank you.

Modding Gerber Dime belt clip
galleryPerhaps like me you love your Gerber Dime, but wish it had a belt clip. If so, I have good news! I got a small clip from Amazon, removed one of the screws on the tool and used that screw to attach the clip. It fits perfectly and now I can carry my Dime around on my belt!

Modding Ok hear me out…
I hear you like pocket clips so I got you a pocket clip so you can pocket clip while you pocket clip.
No seriously: I like carrying MT pliers. I also like wearing light weight synthetic work pants and shorts. I’ve found the use of a single pocket clip (necessitated by the dual handle design) causes the thing to twist around, or even invert, when clipped to my back pocket. Addition of a second clip prevents this. If you have the dreaded “pliers come open in my pocket” problem associated with the PowerPint, this would fix that too. Me I just tighten the screws at the pliers.

Modding Gerber Mp600 saw attachment to blade
I got the Gerber MP600 knife-less version, I like it a lot especially because I can carry it where knives are not allowed. However, I know you can swap the rem grit saw for new blades. Does anyone know if there is a blade attachment for that, or what that attachment type is called.

Modding Roxon S802 Phantom modding
I've had the Phantom for a little while now, and really like it's layout and it seems to be built really well. Love the huge scissors on it too, they're really robust. Just wondering if anyone else has done much in the way of modding for it?
I'd like to have a proper bit driver for it, 4mm would probably be fine and I'd be willing to get rid of a few of the smaller tools for it. Apparently the goat tools are a pretty close fit and I think they have a bit driver, but would like to hear if anyone else has done it.
Also I'd like the knife in a better steel, as far as I'm aware they're only 8cr. I know i'd probably have to get this commissioned though, would it be possible to get something machined/made close enough to be able to use in the tool or is that not really feasible?

Modding Victorinox spirit X pivot swap
galleryHi everyone, Few days ago, I got a Spirit X at a fairly reasonable price. As I see, spirit X is a perfect multitool with all the small tools I need. The only drawback I saw is the rivet that Vic used for this multitool, that limit the ability to modify and fully maintenace the tool. I did a small mod to swap the rivet with pivot and screw, which allow me to modify, disassemble and reassemble the tool anytime I want. Thanks for watching and I’m open to answer any questions you guys may have regarding disassemble and reassemble Vic spirit X

Modding Rescued Gerber MP600 with a touch of Leatherman
So I had a damaged MP600 that had a messed up plain blade, broken file, and missing lock. Not being one to let a mostly intact tool go to waste, I decided to fix it with one minor purchase and some modifications to a couple of spare parts I had. I jumped on eBay and purchased a new frame from MultiPartsStore for about $11. That covered the broken lock. Now onto the plain blade and file. I found a blade and file from a Leatherman Bond that looked like would work with some modifications. I laid them on top of a Gerber tool and traced the profile that engages with the lock and allows the tools to rotate freely. About 20 minutes of careful work with the Dremel and I felt confident that they would work. I assembled everything, did a little more Dremel work to make sure there was solid lock up, and voila! I now have an MP600 with a Leatherman blade and file.
