The much-discussed new H3 podcast episode where the conservative YouTuber Steven Crowder, known for aggressively debating college kids, is finally forced to confront the progressive YouTuber Sam Seder (brought on as a surprise) after dodging a much more equal debate with him for years. Ad hominem.

Also, what did he say that was racist?

Ad hominem.

Yall were talking about a person, Crowder, and now you say ad hominem? Ad hominem is when you say "This person is not credible/stupid/etc therefore their argument that [x] is wrong"

That isn't what is happening here at all. And just naming a logical fallacy is the logical fallacy fallacy. Come on man.

That’s one example of ad hominem, yes. What the original comment said was that we shouldn’t hear his side of the story because he’s a racist, implying that any argument he makes is automatically null and void because of it. How is that NOT an ad hominem?
