GOOD MORNING! Time for day 1 of the giveaways!

Some things have changed since the original post! We went from giving away 500 tweaks/themes to giving away 1,743 tweaks/themes! So instead of giving away 50 a day, it will be around 150 a day and instead of 1 per day on our Discord server, it will be 10 a day!

If you were to buy one of each of the tweaks/themes we were giving away, it would cost you $135.43 before tax. The ARV (Actual Retail Value) of all the tweaks/themes being given away these next few days will be worth $3,320.92!

I would like to give 2 shootouts:

1. To all the developers and designers who donated their tweaks and themes to this awesome and massive giveaway. (At this time we are no longer accepting any more donations to the giveaway so we can keep things organized)

2. To the Packix repo for matching up to $2,500 USD in donations to this giveaway. (What this means is that developers and designers who's packages are hosted on the Packix repo will be reimbursed for donating)

Rules Of Entry:

• To enter, simply answer the question asked at the bottom of this post
• Your account needs to have been made before the original post. (April 6 and earlier is fine)
• You can only win ONCE per day but you can win on multiple days. (If you happen to win on both Reddit and Discord on the same day though, that is ok)
• Moderators of r/jailbreak are disqualified from winning.
• Moderators of the r/jailbreak discord server are disqualified from winning the discord giveaways.
• Developers who donated codes are ALLOWED to participate in these giveaways.
• This giveaway will be open for around 24 hours (including Discord giveaways).
• If you get banned for any reason between entering this giveaway and receiving your prize, a new winner will be picked. (Temporarily banned or Permanently banned)

Due to the fact that there will be over 1,500 winners, prizes will not be distributed until the last giveaway is over to make it easier for the developers and designers. Winners will hopefully be announced in the same post as the following giveaway. If not, it will be in 2 days.

After 3 days of revoked and could not install from official site , now it able to install and able to re-jailbreak again, I just installed and re-jailbreak my phone 3 minutes before writing this post.

Hello r/jailbreak,

After some internal discussion, we will be adding a "Filter Bypass" rule. This rule is to combat users who deliberately attempt to bypass our automod filters in place. It causes more work for us and is done with the intention of breaking the rules.

This will only be enforced on intentional bypassing, where a user knowingly changes the formatting, adds emojis, uses images or substitutes characters of words to circumvent the filter.

Here is what will happen when someone intentionally bypasses the filters:

Strike 1: 1 Day Ban

Strike 2: 5 Day Ban

Strike 3: Permanent Ban

This rule will go into effect in one week to allow everyone a chance to read this.

Hey everyone!

We are once again looking to bring on new moderators to help with daily moderation tasks on r/jailbreak and r/iOSthemes.

At this time, we are looking to bring on about 1-2 new mods, preferably those in European/Oceania timezones (no US timezones), although we may decide to change that number.

Please do not apply if you already did last time or if you are in US timezones. We are also considering the March applicants too.

Requirements

• Your account must be at least 6 months old and you must have at least 500 cumulative karma
• Must be active in r/jailbreak and/or r/iOSthemes and be knowledgeable about jailbreaking
• Look forward to doing the "janitorial" work that is the bulk of what moderators do: removing and approving posts, clearing the modqueue, responding to modmail, explaining rules, helping people, maintaining order. It helps to be a pretty patient and tolerant person.
• Willing to perform the majority of moderation work from a computer & install Moderator Toolbox (mod tools for mobile are terrible)
• Willing to actively participate in our private subreddit, Slack channel and join our private Discord server
• Previous moderator experience is helpful, but not necessary
• Willing to submit to our Robot Overlords

Update on the previously chosen moderator

Recently, we introduced two new moderators to the community, /u/dpkg_ and /u/snoop8ball. A few days after being chosen, Snoop posted a video to the subreddit on why you should jailbreak. We removed the post for being low-effort, but when we watched the video, we noticed that the voiceover of the video is similar to that of a kid. Since Reddit's ToS state that users must be 13 years and older, and Snoop was a moderator, we asked Snoop for a blurred out version of his ID that showed a DOB, and his name (Snoop's first name was visible to us in our backroom chat). After being asked for the picture, Snoop decided to step down on his own accord.
