Anyone switched from Samsung to iPhone? Discussion

Loke the title says, has anyone here owned a Samsung Galaxy before and then switched to iPhone? I'm thinking about doing that, currently have the Galaxy S24 and thinking of getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but I want to see if anyone has made a similar change before and what it was like adapting to a phone and system you've not used before.

Back in 2020 from S10 to 12 Pro Max. Never looked back.

Same 12 Pro Max from 2020 and still using it, a Samsung never lasted that long.

Now I'm running without a case or screen protector because why not? It's lasted this long.

I used my galaxy notes for YEARS.  Replaced the batteries...HOLY SHIT you can do that?!

I feel liked bots are all over this thread because iphones are bricked by the battery and the batteries only last a couple years

I don’t know your comment is the only one that stands out so maybe you’re the bot?

Seriously though… before the commitment to 7 years of updates, Samsung and the carriers sucked at keeping up with security updates. Only recently did they actually match that.

My note 9 stopped updating after 2 years. So. My note 10+ also stopped updating. My S21u? Well, idk. Used that as a trade in. So. But HOLY SHIT you can change iPhone batteries!? You can do that!?

My 14 pro max actually was at 86% after 2 years. My note 10+ after a year wouldn’t last more than a few hours. While my 14 pro max lasted be a day and a half still. Super crazy how that works.
