The best ipad apps and/or games Question

I'm getting an ipad 10.9in 10th gen. for the first time since I got my ipad mini in like 2010 lol. Help a girl out, I know there's a ton i've missed on these ipads. What are the best apps (specifically for school, notes, etc. [the main reason I got an ipad again lol]) and what are some just fun games you girlies like to play on an ipad (preferably free, I'm a college student lol but if it costs a little >$10 its ok) but I used be an ipad girl when I was younger so lmk some games that are way better on ipad than a phone or laptop, thanks!!! <333

Also....I got the pen, but I already have a laptop but do you guys think the keyboard is useful/productive. My laptop is pretty somewhat large, an Ipad would be wayyyy more convenient to carry around, thoughts on this as well would be appreciated , thank you guys!!!

Commenting on here so I can keep up with this thread too! I don’t use mine for notes, but for a free app I use consistently is happy color. Completely free (just a little ad heavy but it’s worth it), but I just color by number my heart away. Love it so much.

School - Goodnotes and Notion are my favorite. Games - Turmoil, Furistas, Sneaky Sasquatch are great and if you’re willing to invest $5 they have no ads on Apple Arcade.
