Also 8GB of ram (supposedly) and the usb port gets updated to USB 3.1 gen 2 (10 GBPS)

noted and thanks. but still not enough to tip me over to hit the buy button.

although, if the USBC when connected to an external monitor can do more than just mirroring... nah, still won't upgrade from my mini 6

Well, at least they decided to bring the specs within acceptable range for 2024.
