Why would it be surprising that they would be out of touch with reality? They literally live a completely different life than us. Their reality is not our reality so it only makes sense that they would not understand our reality and that probably works both ways.

Because one would think an educated individual in that bracket would be aware of what life is like for people that were born less fortunate. Some of them do understand… but that’s a very small minority.

My friend is dating/in a relationship with a billionaire. He doesn't understand why she can't just take off work whenever she wants to go jet setting around the world with him.
