I understand that you can put as much money as you want into each rifle. But, entry/budget level AR15s are still in the 5-600 range, where as I can’t find an AK for less than 750. I know that’s not a huge difference, it just seems odd to me.

I've been following this thread for a long time and I'm really jealous of the American gun laws. I'm from Germany and it's almost impossible to own guns legally here. This is a backcountry range so no instructor/employees. Obviously since he won't listen this is my sign to leave but how should I talk to him since he wont listen and seem to lack basic firearm safety training.

Update: Someone at the range did call LE and i got a photo of the plates and the cops told him to leave, hopefully he wont be back.

I saw some clips of it mostly used in the eastern block on the ak platform but I can’t find anything of it online. Anyone know what I mean?

A rather unfortunate and very easily avoidable incident happened at my local range tonight where a man was trying to clear a weapon and ended up clearing his mind.

If you don’t know, ask, and for the love of god keep the business end pointed downrange.

First and foremost: I am not, nor would I advise carrying a single action as your primary EDC. There are far better options out there. It's better than nothing, but its not the best in any category.

Now thats that's out of the way....

If you were to carry a single action as an EDC (concealed or open)... how would you carrying spare ammo? I've seen a posts about how to reload quickly (which basically boils down to carrying spare cylinders or practice practice practice). Spare cylinders seems fairly self explanatory. But outside of that, how would you carry spare ammo? Cartridge belt? Loose pocketed cartridges? Some kind of stripper clip??

Just thought this could be an interesting hypothetical exercise.

Edit 1: I was referring to single action revolvers with a loading gate. (I.e. not a break open design like a Schofield.)

Hello everyone, I'm sure this may have been asked before however not pertaining to my exact model. Does anyone know of a bayonet that will fit my Springfield Armory 16 rifle? Thank you! (I've read up on a few however there is a concern of the bayonet being 'loose.')
