Cities with breathtaking geographic features? Discussion

Post image

I’ve only been around the United States, Canada, Mexico, and a few European countries, so my experiences are pretty limited, and maybe I’m a little bias, but seeing Mt. Rainier on a clear day in the backdrop of the Seattle skyline takes my breath away every time.

I know there’s so many beautiful cities around the world (I don’t wanna sound like a typical American who thinks the world is just the states lol).

Interested to hear of some examples of picturesque features from across the world.

I’ve gotta say. Vancouver is gorgeous. As a New Yorker, seeing it in person felt very trippy. It’s like taking the mountain ranges we have upstate and surrounding NYC with them. I spotted several other smaller skylines around, and you would see something different in every direction. I’m hoping to return in the relatively near future for a real visit because I wasn’t there very long.

Yep Burnaby (big suburb right next to Vancouver) has had some major skyscrapers constructed in the last decade and it almost looks like another major city off the in distance now

NY state mountains are more like hills. Please don’t compare eastern mountains with the West.

Pshh this BanTrumplins obviously never trekked the Himalayas!! Those are mountains!! Sierra Nevadas? Pshh just hills compared to the Alps! lol Look at you now talking about those US mountains — weren’t you rambling about how only Europe and SA have real mountains? LoL!

Don’t you have a Trump rally to attend?

lol - projecting much? How does talking about mountains, and quoting your own words equate to being a Trump supporter.

lol, projection - you’re secretly a Trump voter but want people to think otherwise by stating you’re against him. lol reminds me of those anti-gay republicans caught with men in bathrooms.

People with as much negativity as you generally Trump supporters- you fit right in!

It’s for comparison sake of having mountains surrounding the city. It’s very different from cities on the East coast. The mountains themselves are much more grand looking on the west. It’s definitely a better view over there.
