Homemade My vegetarian fry up from the morning.
Sorry if this is a crime on this subreddit

Vegetarian and vegan fry-ups have always been welcome on this subreddit and always will be.
What's unwelcome is users complaining, teasing, or insulting others for their choice to not eat meat or meat-based products. The same goes for attacking users for choosing to eat meat, or any other dietry choices or restrictions, such as halal, kosher, gluten free, low-carb, etc.

Café Breakfast Last minute Breakfast decision
So train was cancelled and so stood freezing on the platform for 40mins so popped into Philpotts. This was £8 with toast that was coming. Eggs a bit crispy, bacon overdone, tasteless sausages and chewy hash brown. 2/10. When you cold and hungry I was thankful.

Café Breakfast USW Canteen - £5.20
Lack of variety due to high demand. Despite that everything was banging. 9/10

Homemade £3.47 per portion, my Kitchen.
I keep seeing lots of people posting £10 plus breakfasts, out and about in Landan Tan mostly. Just a reminder you can do it better and cheaper at home 🏡

Café Breakfast M&S cafe £9.50
Good quality ingredients, eggs perfectly poached with an oozy golden centre, sausages very flavoursome, not proper English bacon but it was a generous portion and cooked well, no stringy bits! I thought the tomato’s hadn’t been cooked at first but it was just an illusion, when I bit into them they were really soft and melt in the mouth. There are 2 slices of bread, one is hiding. No black pudding which is fine by me as I’m not keen, could do with some mushrooms though.

Café Breakfast BA Hong Kong ‘full English’.
Egg stuff rubbery. Similar mushrooms. Watery tomato. Sparse beans. No sauce. Watery coffee. 2/10 cos it was hot and I was hungry! Really glad I was in ‘premium’ economy..imagine proper economy!

Café Breakfast Nice light lunch
Stopped off at Morrisons in Crowborough en route to Tonbridge. I thought they did well for £6.75. Already made a start on the black pudding. Sausage toasted a bit soapy though - hope it hadn't fallen in with the washing up!
Homemade First post, made my mum a fry-up today and my veggie fry-up to the left
Sourdough bread I had to hand cut from M&S too, how’d I do?

Homemade Find the Fault
Opted to make some caramelised onions because that acidity helps to cut through the fat. Also, for the beans, once the bacon and sausages were done, I transferred them to the oven with the hash browns to stay warm, drained the fat from the pan (to fry the mushrooms in), added some smoked paprika, chicken seasoning and tomato puree to the pan to deglaze, then added the beans to give them some extra OOMPH. Absolutely banging breakfast.
Mushrooms fried in bacon fat, tomatoes pan roasted in dry pan with a knob of butter at the end to avoid them becoming too greasy.
PS. Only had hobos whole meal in the house. Not ideal but not terrible.
