Does anyone think he’s going to the draft? I think he’s a great blocker.

Would be a great pickup imo, very similar player to James and has had big time production at Tulane. Also the brother of CB commit Na’eem Offord

Pro Ducks Herbert & Nix numbers 1 & 2 in history for TD passes by a rookie

Duck QBs are showing out. From ESPN, "Nix threw for four touchdowns, giving him 29 for the season, second-most by a rookie in NFL history, behind only Justin Herbert's 31 in 2020."

Of course, they both had great wins today, along with Mariota. Great day for pro Duck QBs, not to mention Bucky, etc.! 🦆🦆🦆

Herbs, Bo, even Marcus all balled out today. Great showing for former ducks quarterbacks. All 3 heading to the playoffs too (albeit Marcus in a backup role). Excited for round 1!

Football Recalibrate goals for 2025

The more I think about it, the more I think this team peaked in the big 10 title game.

Why? It was the overarching goal the whole year. Keystone species for the new conference. It was their (perceived) main goal. Combined with the fact they went unbeaten and really “won” the big 10, I think the burnout and motivation left.

For next year, I hope Dan uses this season as fuel to remind the guys the season doesn’t end after the conference championship. Because maybe that was on the staff placing so much emphasis on the conference title.

I can guarantee you Ohio state wasn’t obsessing over a conference title. Neither did Michigan last year.

Make no mistake. We were probably losing to Ohio state on Jan 1st no matter what. But I think this season and how it ended will serve as a great lesson for the staff on how to calibrate expectations and goals.
