How to fix the rollercoaster Graphs & Data

Post image

I went on a trip last week which messed my routine up. Now I'm back to my routine from a week but still can't fix the rollercoasters. Any help would be appreciated.

My takeaway personally is your basal doesnt seem too far off the mark, as your overnight seems relatively steady. To be it looks like you're either not pre-bolusing meals or you're simply not taking enough insulin for the food consumed. I speak from someone who has had a very similar trend in the past, and it was a combo of needing to inject 10 mins before food not with food (i was being lazy before) and needing an extra unit or two (anxiety about big injections was holding me back)

Increase basal dosage. Your overall glucose is rising too high, which points to insufficient basal. Once that is more in line you can look at bolus.

More insulin for breakfast and more for dinner. Your rollercoaster doesn’t have many lows so I would be aggressive with the bolus insulin :).
