Daughter got her acceptance letter today, looking for feedback.
My daughter got accepted into the Korbel School of international studies. She is looking at other schools in the beltway like American, George Washington, U of Maryland etc. Looking for some feedback from current or former students:
International Studies equations: What are the professors like? What’s internship options like? Job placement after college?
General questions: What’s the dorms like? Any tips? What’s the surround city like? Off campus area like? Do you need a car if you live on campus?
Thanks interwebs and any other comments welcome!

I graduated with a masters in International Business from DU in 2004. It’s a great university and Korbel is one of the best on the campus. The GSIS program has a ton of international accolades as well. There are some very well known alumni like Condi Rice. If her goal is government service or international relations it would be a wonderful choice.
The dorms seem pretty amazing from what I see walking my dogs on campus these days. The neighborhood is very safe, and the weather in Colorado is hands down perfect.
Any of those schools are great choices! I hope she is overwhelmed with options!
