Im taking a ridiculous turn here, but, would you LS swap a 300 SL ? It would make it faster, i think.

Yes. The only cars worth leaving stock are Nissan/Datsun S and Z chassis.

I was mostly kidding but for real, isn’t that usually how it goes? 240SX’s are so commonly modded that most of the /r/240sx sub, myself included, gets more excited by a clean stock example than another slammed, kitted drift car, as great as those are.

I only really get excited when I see stock Supras and e30’s. I’d rather see a modded 240 lol

Ahh, fair enough! I’ve owned nearly 20 S chassis cars, so I’m probably a bit burnt out on them. I spent two years “modding” one back to 100% factory original condition and it was the most fun I’d ever had building a car. So I’m provably a bit biased lol
