Poundage drop after string replacement?
I just had the strings and cables replaced on my Bear Species EV, as the old ones were starting to go. Brought it to the local shop and had them replaced with GAS high octane strings and cables.
The bow was at 70 pounds, with 30” draw with the old strings. I haven’t checked the draw length yet but it feels the same, however, I lost over 5 pounds of weight and it’s sitting at 65ish now, and the let off and draw cycle feels much different now.
Any advice? I’d like to be able to make it 70 pounds again, as I worked pretty hard to get up to that, and my arrows are built for shooting at 70 or higher.

Your axle to axle should be 30” and your brace height should be 6 3/4”. Like was already mentioned, measure those. They should be off, I would also guess the timing is off as well. Since it is a single cam the cam is probably under/over rotated too. It needs to be put back in spec and the cam needs to be set correctly for timing purposes. You could also look at your limb bolts too. The should be firmly seated at 70 pounds.
