Kamala Harris - Gun Ownership Discussion/Debate

Do we all agree that Kamala Harris never owned a Glock? Or at the very least had only bought one during her campaign so she could say she owned one? Did anyone ever follow up on this?

I just wish the interviewer had asked the follow up question that any genuinely interested gun owner would ask: "nice! Which glock model?"

There wouldn't have to be any detailed questions about the caliber or the takedown process, just asking which glock she has.

Kamala's answer of "I have a glock" was already weird to me, because I'd usually answer that as I have a glock 19 or 34 or whatever it is, but even if I answered that I had a glock, I'd be able to instantly answer a follow up about the model, I'd have loved to see if kamala could do the same

Yeah I thought it ass a weird answer. She looked like a deer in headlights. Usually when I talk about my guns I say I have a few rifles and shotguns. I’ll get into the model with certain people because we end up talking about whether the browning or beretta is better and why. Or how my Remington 1100 is old asf and jams all the time unless I use certain shells. But that’s only because those people are hunters or genuinely interested in the type of gun. Usually if people ask about whether or not I own a gun I’m not like “yes, a Remington 1100 that jams all the time see how legit I am own a gun!!!”. I guess I felt like she was trying too hard by saying Glock or she was like “shit, think of a gun” and blurted that out and it came off as a total lie.

There are a few comments on this board pointing out that focusing on this is sort of pointless. Or that she’s a DA so she would own a gun. For those: It isn’t about the gun ownership. It’s a referendum on her phoniness.

I also thought it was an interesting choice. Handguns account for like 95% of all gun deaths in the United States. I would’ve thought that (strategically) it would’ve been better to (probably lie) say that she owned a shotgun or something. No interviewer is gonna ask “oh yeah, what model?!?” because I don’t think Lester even knows a Glock is a brand of gun - the reason he didn’t dig is because he probably thought it was a totally acceptable answer. Idk, I guess from a political strategy standpoint if you’re gonna lie, lie about having a shotgun or a rifle. Lol.

Most of you bothered by it are men in women’s panties lace ones at that. Her husband could have been the one who picked out the gun or guns and  purchased them. Y’all are so weird most people don’t talk about their guns like that who have sense especially when they are a public figure. Because go ahead break in my home or homes thinking I’m against smart gun ownership and your next of kin will be needing the black dresses and suits period
