This year it was my goal to find Tiburon Mariposa Lily (Calochortus tiburonensis) and Clay Mariposa Lily (Calochortus argillosus) which I had never seen before.

I am quite happy to have found and photographed them (#1 and #25).

This is wonderful! Thank you so much for posting! One year I tried to get a pic and identify every flower we saw on our ramblings in the Santa Cruz Mtn/Peninsula areas but my list was much shorter. And I've never heard of The Grove of Stout-Hearted Wonders, had to google that!

absolutely love- thank you for taking the time to compile these and label them all. how did you go about learning them? pictures first and then identifying or do you set out looking for specific things?

do you have any of the mount diablo fairy lantern?
