Grass ID book? - RECOMMENDATION

I'm looking for a grass ID book, ideally for Central Queensland/Australia, or just generally for Queensland or even the whole of Australia.

Please. Grasses are so difficult. Help.

That’s a lovely book but many of the species are C3 grasses from temperate areas - Victoria, the NSW tablelands etc. this person needs something with more subtropical and tropical grasses, which will mostly be C4 species

Domestic lawn grasses or wild native grasses?

Ideally something with native and common non native pasture grasses (but not lawn grasses). Similar to the DPIs. Coastal Grasses of NSW.

Would also be very happy with natives only too.

Unless someone has specifically written that book, you'll probably need a number of books and maybe even some research papers.

University of new Enland has a good booklet with photos of grasses including natives and exotics. Not Queensland based, but a good start for recognising and identifying some families.
