Anywhere to still get a cheap gun transfer in South Austin area?

I'd been using a specific shop for probably 14 years, hadn't bought anything in about 2 years so I was disappointed when I saw they raised the cost of the transfer fees. Anywhere left in the South Austin area that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for a transfer?

It went up everywhere. I use Zero Whiskey Tactical. $25 for LTC holders, $35 non-LTC

It went up everywhere.

^ What this guy said is so true. Several places I've used in the past have almost doubled their transfer fees since COVID.

60 but need a heads up on the item before you order

Do you want an email or phone call beforehand to let you know there is an inbound firearm?

Email is always preferred but not necessary

Zero Whiskey is the best and easiest. I’d rather support Z than anyone else.

I go to money and more pawn in Kyle. $20 for non CHL and $15 for CHL. Plus discounts on multiple transfer (items)

FFL transfers have been $25-30 for the past 5 years in my experience.

Talking to an owner, they said there has been too much hassle with the AT* agency requireing them to log and verify each transfer. It makes auditing a nightmare when one place has had 300 FFLs ran through.

I’ll have to do that. I feel like they were worth supporting after the bump stock lawsuit.

Agreed, Michael is a great dude so I did too until I had some pretty shocking customer service experiences with them. Like missing packages and the like. I found Zero Whiskey and won’t look back.

Gotcha. Thank you for sharing.

I use them for my FFLs, but man, the customer service sucks. Last time, I ended up with a guy who was waaaay into anime e-girls and really wanted to share.

Also, they filed for bankruptcy a few months back, so who knows how much longer they’ll be around.

I’ve been using them for FFL since Bentley’s closed and I haven’t been offered any anime, but it’s definitely a more professional experience when the owner is in.

I get them for $10 with mike @ cross hair guns. People have seemed to have issues with him on here, But I’ve used him three times now with zero issues 🤷🏾‍♂️
