I would tend to agree with you for what you get. I had no issues shelling out $1,000 for a Garmin Epix 2 when I considered what I was getting. If the Ultra can last more than 2 complete days on a charge, I will sell my Epix.

IIRC it was 36 hours normal use but they’re working on a special mode that they claim will be 60 hours.

“Special mode” is low power mode that probably also disables always on display and minimizes communication.

Low power mode is already in, they seemed to be talking about a kind of in-between mode.
