When I went to the Apple Store they said sales have slowed to a crawl.

My wife and I went the other day and the girl at the front pretty much stalked us into doing a demo. Through conversation she said nobody has really come in to try it out so she wanted to get more practice doing demos with people. Didn’t exactly sound like these things are flying off the shelves

The headsets are really good for two things. Games and porn.

This headset is too heavy and doesn't excel at games or porn and it's incredibly expensive.

Having used one, it’s not even that good at VR porn! If you’re getting one to make masturbation more fun you’d be better suited with an OG vive or quest 2!

Based on my limited (a week) usage of it, it’s a mind blowing AR headset but a terrible VR headset.

If you’re interested in AR but have no interest in VR: Hands down get an Apple Vision Pro.

If you have any interest in what modern VR has to offer, the AVP should be the last headset on your list. It’s terrible for VR.

I’m hoping since it isn’t a “professional” device, the non-pro will have more of a VR gaming focus, but I have a strong feeling I’m going to be disappointed again

You can believe what you want. I don't care if you're wrong.

They were never going to sell really. The market for VR is already pretty small. The market for a $3500 VR headset is basically non existent.
